Well, looking ahead, i didn't realize Buffalo's defense has been that terrible.

close to last every category. rushing yards, passing yards, points per game.

similar to last year. by the way people talk about them you''d think they were a top 10 defense (obv i know they aren't. but just based on the public perception of this team this season)

Hopefully the steelers beat the pats and the redskins beat the bills.

    1. Steelers over Pats? Last time I checked, they haven't figured out how to beat the picks downfield. Till that happens, count this one for Pats win.

    2. Foreskins over Bills? With Wrecks Gross-man at QB? Or that John Beck dude at QB? Dream on.

I agree totally. Hopefully Moore will right the ship on how to deal with getting prepared during a bye.

The Steelers have a chance but its very small.

And I dont understand how a team that prides its self on bullying teams in their division has such a problem bullying that soft Patriots team. Hopefully this is the time the Steelers finally get after the Patsies.

Saturday,I would have said the Foreskins would beat the Bills.Beck is clearly better than Grossman and the Redskins D is much improved from last year. However, Santana Moss broke his hand, they have no O-line, and they've been struggling to stop the run.

Their problem on D is,they started off shocking teams because they are too aggressive.Kerrigan and Orakpo are a great tandem off the edge. However, teams (Philly and Carolina) figured them out and made the necessary adjustments to counter their aggression from the opening kick (which Schotty almost never does). Just like their last two games, the Bills are going to utilize screens, shovel passes, bootlegs, draws and every other trick in the book to make those OLB overrun plays. They don't have a plan B.

As for the Steelers v. Pats. I dont see us winning this division anyway and I think the Ravens will win the AFC North so Im not sure if it's in our best interest for PITT to win. I just hope it gets ugly and they rough the Pats players up.I hope their LB's and Polamalu put a hurtin on Brady.

I'm crossing my fingers for an epic collapse by the Bills. The Bills never get up to play in Toronto and they've got us and the Cowboys on slate after that.

Strange isn't it? For a while it was because the Patriots were tougher then teams like the Steelers gave them credit for. Now, I think it's because the Steeler D is fairly predictable. They want to say "Here we are, now stop us from throttling you" and the Patriots can.

I think the Patriots do have the upper hand next week but it's far from a given. It's quite possible that the Steelers will try some new wrinkles against Brady and they could certainly work.

(One of the worst beatdowns by the Steelers was when they broke the Patriots 2003-2004 winning streak and that was because they were specifically waiting in the weeds with new plays. We'll see if the Steeler D tries something like that on Sunday).

Also the Steeler offense is pretty scary and it matches up well with a fragile Patriots D. Rothesberger WILL throw and likes to throw so it could be a shootout with the winner being the team that makes the most stops.

I just don't think the Steelers have the DBs to keep up with the Pats receivers. Their front 7 is legit but if you can spread it out you can give them trouble.

When steeler and pats talk football, it must turn into an endless discussion about how each team's rings make them more relevant that the other.

This is the New York Jets we're talking about. I'm spending the rest of this week nervous as all hell, worried about which of our players is going to get drunk during his week off and go do something boneheaded which a) gets into all the papers, b) gets him arrested, c) gets him put in front of Goodell or d) all of the above.

    1) Braylon is gone. 2) Tone wont get caught with that synthetic THC that the LSU boys got caught with. 3) plax is on probation 4) Will Rex make another sex tape? doubt it

The worst that can happen this week is Rex gets another triabal, Cro impregnates anoth hood rat, and Mark ends up in JQ with white pants on...um wait
