Carton was killing Francesa early in the show this morning. He too called out the Jets PR guy (as he should have), but he was saying Francesa came on there with a clear agenda, he hates the Jets, wanted a confrontation, and said Francesa wouldn't have spent more than more a minute on the issue if it was "Pawrsells" on the other end of the line. Boomer then added he hung up on Mike & Dog at least two or three times in the early-'90s when he had the Friday spot with them as the Jets QB.

Which means that Mike is a flat out liar. Mike had insisted in his entire career he had only been hung up on 2 other times. Once by Bob Knight and he couldn't recall the other instance. What I love about this whole thing is that he tries to paint the jets as this second class, flash in the pan,phony that isn't worth he or Giant fan listeners time...yet his entire show has become nothing but discussions and phone calls about the Jets!
jet fans not listening wont matter. im pretty sure that we dont count towards his ratings. at least i know i dont. i dont get surveyed to determine ratings. what we should do is listen and hope that real jet fans get through and give him hell. listening to him stutter and try and defend his stupidity is awesome stuff
the best solution is to listen, write down the names of each of his advertisers and then contact each of them via email advising them that you will no longer buy their products or services until they no longer advertise on the Fat Slob's hideous program
now you're on to something. i still have to say though, he is way more entertaining than anything on 1050. michael kay makes me want to puke hes so bad.
he starting with the jets game, im shocked. he just said that the revis play changed the game. said the jet D was very very good. said that we looked good in the redzone. Said rivers played bad but the jets d forced him to play bad. he is giving us a lot of credit and actually being honest so far.
He usually is re. on the field stuff, even on Revis' pick 6 he said there was no way they would have lost even if they made the PI call
the charger receiver getting it tipped to Revis for a 64 yard return was lucky and the receiver should have had it every time but the same thing happening to Keller in the first quarter and returned for a touchdown wasn't that important
