and finally, today, I am satisfied with the victory. Still a lot of things we have to clean up if we want to make a run at this thing, but all in all, a real gutsy performance. The first one of the season against a legitimate opponent. I still am not a believer in Shotty, and Sanchez still has a lot to do to prove he is a reliable top tier quarterback. But what matters is they got it done. A win is a win is a win. Now let's rest up on the bye week, and kick the shit out of the Jills. Bring 'em back down to earth.:buffaloblows:
I still take him over any QB in his draft class. Sorry Stafford, but sometimes the best ability for QB is availability. And don't get me started on Freeman and his decision-making. Granted if you've watched Bucs games half of his interceptions go off of the hands of his wideouts, but when the chips are down I know no matter how shitty the game has gone #6 can get his shit together and bring home a W when the situation presents itself. We can't say the same right now about Josh.
I'm sure everyone here has been waiting for you to let us know whether or not you were satisfied with this win. We all thank you for this wonderful thread.
The bye comes at bad time. I would have loved to go into Buffalo next week and continue to build some momentum.
When we drafted our original batch of Flight Attendants, we disrupted some kind of natural order. From that day forward the only way we can win a game is to win butt ugly. Karma is not to be messed with.
I don't care who the player is; a fan who wishes for his team to lose for a draft pick is a shitty fan.
It's just bad karma imo, watch the Dolphins get the #1 pick and Luck end up not playing there...does he have eligibility left after this season? That would be sick if he went back to Stanford
