You HAVE to throw at Revis if he's covering your best guy, you don't really have a choice. If you have Andre Johnson on your team you can't just not throw to him, that's what makes Revis so dangerous. Against teams with shitty WRs they'll either move him around or he'll cover somebody who can be ignored for large portions of the game but if you have an elite guy like a Johnson, Fitz, Jackson, etc. you can't just ignore them.
Time to go non denominational... Would like to Praise Tim Tebow for this epic performance for 5 minutes.
I think its more of a function of having any other true receiving options. if you havent got any, you have to go to your main guy, Revis or not. Now that Wilson and Cro are playing so damn well, those other options arent open as often as they were in the past. meaning its starting to go back to 09 before Revis had the don't throw at him rep. The Jets Defensive staff is finding ways to force the ball back at Revis, and its paying dividends. Or maybe the last few QB's are retarded. either way its good for us. Preferably the former, because Revis gets to be super beast all year, and probably ends up as DPOY. If the last few teams were just stupid, then his "big play stats" probably take too much of a hit for him to win DPOY
this is what football would look like if goodell decided that revis had to play with one hand tied behind his back.
Thought it would be appropriate to open this place up a bit to other individuals who bring success upon your team.
Blessed be our savior who has led us out of the wilderness, and has bestowed his gifts upon his disciples. Praise Revis.
So have any of the beat writers updated the quarterback Revis for QB's who dare to test the Savior yet? I know it was 4.9 last week and it could not have gone up with Rivers' game. Also, how long until that rating becomes a negative?
And Revis continueth to leadeth his people to the promised land in Indy in February to be repeateth in New Orleans in 2013 and threepeateth IN OUR HOUSE, JET LIFE STADIUM in 2014
I don't know where to find the stats but it seems to me that Revis has gained more yards on the field with the ball in his hands than his direct opponents so far this year. Does anyone have the exact numbers? I have our Savior with 184 yards
