    it drives me nuts that the Jets gave this bloated fountain of misinformation access this past summer. they should avoid his show like the plague and leave him to interview Norv Turner and Jim Shwartz while we're making our playoff run. what a close-minded, pompous asshole! I honestly can't understand why they would extend him any courtesy whatsoever.

    People listening to his show have no effect on his ratings at all, unless they're among the people being polled by Arbitron (and then they can just lie and say they weren't listening, since it's just based on a survey). It's the same thing for TV - I can watch any show I want and it wll have no effect on the ratings, since I'm not a Nielsen family.
