I'd say the next 3 games are really critical. After those 3 games it's a fairly soft schedule, with a couple exceptions. If we lose all three then we'll be 3-6 and even if we went undefeated the rest of the season odds are we miss the playoffs in the AFC this year with an at best 10-6 record and a more than likely 8-8 or 9-7 record. if we lose 1 of the three games it becomes a bit more likely we make the playoffs as you can boost each of those likely outcomes by one win if we win 2 or sweep the next 3 games (the former is possible the latter is possible but unlikely) then we are sitting pretty good for a playoff spot. So yes, the next three games are critical to how or season ends. if we lose all three games there's a chance we don't even get to .500.
If we want to win the division we have to sweep the rest of the way, that means sweeping Buffalo and Miami and getting the split with with New England. This is a lot to ask thats why I'm not thinking about the division right now. I just want us to play well and get ourselves in a position to make the playoffs.
^Sweeping the Dolphins should be easy. We play you again the last game of the season...You guys will have some motivation...We will have none.
Not necessarily but I think the two after this week do. (buffalo and new england) Basically we need to win 2 out of the next 3, and if I had to pick one to lose it would be San Diego (non-divisonal). If we beat San Diego and Buffalo however, its not really mandatory to beat New England (obviously it'd be nice) but were not looking to win the division. Of course though we'd then have to sweep Buffalo and Miami.
Sweep the Fish and the Bills and beat the Pats once means as long as we win game for game we win the division. Also might mean we don't need to worry about them in the wild card either depending on Buffalo's showing against them and Miami.

Next 5 games Jets v SD, Bye Jets @ Buf, Jets vs Ne, Jets @ Den Jets vs Buf These games are critical... we may need to go 4-1...two losses, considering the teams we're playing, would be very harmful Last 5 Chiefs, @ Redskins, @ Eagles, Giants @Dolphins...we may need to win all 5 doable but difficult. If we do it, it will say a lot about our team

I got really excited when I saw that the jets get to play Tim Tebow after the pats. Should be a lot of fun to him thrown to the wolves.
