totally interpreted this wrong... well in this case... lets get him out there this week... 1st play vs. chargers... bomb to Riley lol
Martin Tevaseu, who will most likely be added to our practice squad when he clears waivers. Dennis Landolt was cut from our PS to make room.
From watching that video he seems like he could be a good gunner for punt coverage, which will certainly help him to be active for the games
does anyone know how his first name is pronounced? lol is it ee-ron or like erin? hopefully ee-ron cuz erin would sound pretty gay
Ill just post what I posted on the twitter thread that he being discussed on... Yeah, Miles Austin is probably a better person to describe him as... If he could develop into something even close, that would be awesome. I know the likelihood of that happening is very slim but the Jets have to find some sort of gold from a PS being that they havent in a while. He has all the tools(not sure how his route running is, but he's still young, and not sure how great his hands are but they looked pretty good from what I've seen) and he has the size/speed combination that we DESPERATELY need. Hope they decide to give him some snaps, probably not this week, but maybe send him long on a few plays after our bye. I would definitely prefer him that Patrick Turner because he isnt anything special at all
I had a feeling another receiver would eventually make his way to the active roster after the Mason trade. This should be interesting. It's not surprising that he was unable to crack the 53 man in Denver. They had a promising receiving corps with Lloyd, Thomas, Decker, and Royal, and held a couple of guys on the AR who weren't eligible for the PS any more. They had to figure he'd hang on there for another season and develop. Let's hope he can contribute something. I'm not expecting much, but you never know. With the bye week next week, he'll have nearly 3 weeks of practice to get acclimated before Week 9.
It would be nice to see him just run as fast as he can this sunday and try and get on top of the zone coverage of San Diego
Why does the title of the article say we stole him? It's not like any other team could not have done the same thing for the last several weeks. Teams pick up guys from PS all the time, why is it that when the Jets do it it's stealing?
I would assume because he was a likely candidate to rise up to the active roster soon after the Lloyd trade. It's the timing, not the team.
Maybe the trading of Lloyd has something to do with it ... I think they were planning on moving him uP to the 53 and We took him
The guy might have some potential but we got to remember here. This guy has been in the nfl for 3 seasons, still hasnt been activated in a game yet. Hell the Panthers chose to keep David Fricken Clowney over this guy, i dunno what to make of that Itll be amazing if this guy steps in and is a baller, hell itll be amazing if this guy catches a ball this season. People are getting too giddy too soon
With all of this Occupy Wallstreet Bullshit you could of just told the truth and said because he's jewish
