Battlefield 3

I will be getting it.

 

Can't wait for this game. Completely sick of Call of Duty.

 

I still enjoy COD but i am very interested in what BF3 has to offer

 

will wait to see reviews of both...probably play demo of both and decide on one

 

I would bet we don't see a demo for cod. Maybe a beta for online.

 

Anybody played the beta for this yet?

 

Played it for a few hours one day. I wanted to like it but I just couldn't get into it.

 

This is the first game I've pre-ordered in 3 years.

im hearing the learning curve for this game is going to be tough...Considering I like the freestyle quick play...I am gonna go with COD.

Battlefield looks sweet and very tactical, but alot of people are going to hate it

 

I'll get it for sure, but only for the campaign. I hear that is going to be amazing.

I'll stick to COD for online play.

 

I wish i had the patience to get into this right now.

Once I understand how things work I would prefer the tactical gameplay but I doubt I get into it unless I get involved with a good group to work with.

 

Who's getting this for PS3?

A mic is a must for this game because you will get raped in the ass if your squad doesn't work together.

 

Yup, this is what I am hearing...Its great to play with a group of friends or online buddies you have.

Free play will be good, but doing solo runs against others will be useless...Teamwork will be needed.

I also lack the patience to learn a whole schematics of a FPS again...COD black ops just did not have the same intensity for me as MW2, so i will bank of the new one to have it.

Btw, I read today that Battlefield (EA = Bitches) will charge for online pass...Getting this game used will be pretty much waste of time.

Im buying it, but I wont be using it for online play. I'll stick to COD for that. I took a stab at the beta, and while pretty good didn't separate itself enough from COD to make me either want to switch games or play both.

 

The beta fucking sucks compared to the actual game - no vehicles, no solid sniping spots, it was just very limited because of the map and game mode.

The map is lame and the Rush mode isn't for everyone.

I can't wait for faggot snipers to post up on the tops of building - those buildings will get bombed.

If you have a good sniper in your squad, that player can mark opponents on the map for the rest of his squad to see. So if he doesn't want to give away his position, marks get the job done too.

 

Early impressions?

 

A couple minutes in, your character has to jump out of the train car and grab the next one before the other cars explode, then it tells you to press space, to either climb to the top or hop in the window where the hostile is, but I keep falling off. how do you do it?!
