Rams released him today. Could he add some depth if we get him for the right price?

I don't think he wants to be a #4 WR.

    He'll look to be a #2.

I know Kerley looks promising, but the way Burress is playing...You wouldn't think about giving Sims-Walker that?

Well he wouldnt get guarenteed money, and he would have an excellent shot @ being this teams #2 next year.

Considering the Rams cut him I see no reason why any team would sign him as a #2 wr for this year

Would be a solid sign imo

    That's the management decision.

Do you put Walker on the Roster and limit Burress with a fully guaranteed contract?

I didn't want Burress here, and defended him all September. That's officially going to stop today.

    He's pretty bad.

MSW wouldnt even know the playbook for at least another 4-5 weeks.

Not to mention he would be dirt dirt cheap with no guarenteed cash. I dont think he would be a limiting factor for Plax, who almost certainly isnt getting resigned next year.

Basically getting MSW would be his tryouts to be the teams #2 next year

Plax looks like he's running in quick sand, excuse me, slow sand.

I liked Sims-Walker when he was in Jacksonville..

But is the guy who was just deemed not good enough for the worst team in the league the guy we want to bring in to bolster our passing game? I don't see it happening.

Not sure what happened to the guy, but MSW is a waste of a roster spot at this point.

This team doesn't have time to tryout a #2 WR, IMO.

It'd be nice to pick him up and have him learn and see if he's good for next year, but I don't think he himself would go for it.

If the whole league demotes him to a back up WR, then this could be a decent pickup.

    He needs better hands though.

To be fair they did replace him with a wr who made the probowl last year.

And he completely gashed the Giants this year when the Rams passing game was healthy.

Eitherway signing him would be nothing more than a 1 year flyer with no guaranteed money, giving him a chance to play to be the #2 next year.

Hard to argue against that, i mean who is our #4 wr that he would be displacing anyway ?

Would love to have him, I have always liked hima nd followed his career, I think he would be an upgrade over Burress and was rooting hard for him in the off-season. Looking at our current depth we have to at least look into it.

I am also being a darksider in regards to Burress and think he is a bit of a wasted roster spot, boxing glove hands and does not run his routes at high intensity like he should, I know he is not a fast guy but he looks like he is going through the motions
