Three times this year we'll root for the Giants--loud-mouthed, Francesa types notwithstanding. This is the first of the three. Grit your teeth with me, won't you?

I really don't have anything against the Giants. I'll root for any team playing against our division rivals.

    same here.

i HATE the giants fans that hate us for no reason, but overall i don't root for them to lose. i prefer they win over most other teams. they did knock off the dirty scummy pats after all....

You are all gonna scold me for this but I am having a VERY hard time rooting against the Bills. I know their collapse is almost essential in us making the playoffs but god, it's hard to root for the fucking Giants, especially when they are playing a team full of no-names and castaways.

    *grits teeth* Go Giants!

glad the giants got it done. We need to focus right now on winning a game. After that (supposing we do get a win tomorrow), we need to focus on catching the bills. To me the Bills are only a good team because they believe it. They remind me so much of the Jets circa 2006 when Mangini first took over. For the most part, a team pretty devoid of talent, and strictly overachieved their way to success, then the next year they came crashing back to earth.

but for this year, they are going to be a good team as long as gailey convinces them they are a good team. They took a step back today, and we need to take advantage tomorrow night and inch closer to getting back in the AFCWC race.

Now go beat the Patriots, and lose to the phins if it means making it harder for them to get Luck.

This thread has been annoying me all day. I started out thinking that I should be happy with a Giants win but I still wanted to punch the wall when the Bills dropped the easy, could've been 2nd straight Eli pick 6 to lose a game. Against the Pats, sure, hope they lose. But it's the fucking Bills.

It's not just the obnoxious fans with this Giants team either, pretty much their entire organization is hate able from their lunatic coach on down. Not to mention that we're now going to have to listen to 2 weeks of how amazing and tough the poor injury plagued Giants are because Fitzpatrick threw a couple of terrible passes into Corey Websters hands and Drayton Florence is terrible.

I can't root for the Giants, I would have been fine if Buffalo won b/c I don't think they are for real. The Giants are headed for another collapse this year when their sched gets tought he 2nd half.

After the scrimmage against the Dolphins following the bye the Giants will have to play:

Patriots at Foxboro (30? game regular season winning streak)
49ers in the Bay against a red hot team
    Eagles
    Saints at the superdome
Packers led by supayuman android Aaron Rodjuhz
    Cowboys in Dallas
    Redskins (who knows)
    Jets
    Cowboys again

The Giants will be fortunate to go .500 the rest of the way

I'm glad I accomplished something this weekend.
And I share your sentiments exactly.

I sure hope so. The Giants to me are like the Yankees, I just want them done and out of the way as soon as possible. No offense personally, junc. I actually root for the outcomes of other NFC East games in order to finish off the Giants that much faster.

We're going to need it at least for the Pats. Otherwise someone else will do it and we'll have two in the archives.

Did you know Ashy Larry has a Facebook page? Every once in a while he posts something, always in character, it's good for a laugh.
