Anyone that doesn't understand that people watch it for the sheer athleticism and entertainment value is a retard. The writing is garbage, and the acting is horrible but I won't go into the SOA thread and say something negative because that's called being a hater.
^ Dude, that show sucks. I've given it multiple opportunities. The acting is almost as bad as Great Khali's verbal skills. To each his own I suppose.
I have to be honest....wrestling hasn't been interesting since Janetty did a header through the Barber Shop window.
Don't take me as a pure hater guys. When Monday night football is sucking I sometimes turn on raw now. The rock returning got me a tad interested in this stuff for the first time in years but a lot of it is terrible. I do like miz and truth, those guys are funny. Michael cole makes the whole thing very unenjoyable sometimes. How does wwe think he is helping anything?
^ Thanks to the beauty of DVR, my wrestling fandom is has changed from Monday being destination television, to me being able to truncate a two hour show into about 40 minutes. Fast forward past the nonsense and bring me C.M. Punk, R-Truth, Miz etc. Same goes with Smackdown. Last Monday, I was clearly at the Jets game instead of watching Raw. Back in the late 90's I'm not sure I would've made the same choice. In not one of my posts did I even say that the business isn't in the toilet. Compare it to the late 90's and there's no doubt it's in a creative tailspin. I just don't understand why some feel the need to go into this thread specifically and hate when there are other shows talked about on this board that suck ass.
I actually used to enjoy watching Cole on wrestling. Then I saw that they made him central to the wwe storyline...Something about him having beef with Lawler. I was like this is becoming stupid. Wrestling has lost alot of its spark due to mixed martial arts enthusiasts. The entertaining aspect of it still there to a degree but mass national appeal is slowly wearing off. I still think wrestling is probably big overseas
anyone have details as to what they did to get Rock back? How much money or whatever...Dude had a major hit in Fast and Furious...
I'm pretty sure Badger actually enjoys watching wrestling. And Pantera. Loves Pantera. He probably still has a huge poster of Dimebag Darrell, hanging on the wall and covered in dry jizz. RIP :metal:
