I know. I told one of my friends that last year (who clearly had the best team, and it wasn't even close). Told him he wouldn't win it. Go figure, I was the one to beat him in the championships, and his team completely bombed. It was awesome. But you're right. Im totally going to get screwed and I completely deserve it. But for now im handing out losses like it's no ones business....
If you had taken the trade I offered this week, you'd have an excellent shot at knocking me off today. Would have been down 34 with Holmes and Greene yet to play for you. I pulled it off the table, though. Roddy's struggling like crazy right now.
Maybe I should be glad Scik's out in front. Last year, neither of the top 2 teams made the finals after their bye. Makes me feel better since I have to play Scik without Forte and Holmes in two weeks. I should be two down at best at that point. Soss is a tough matchup next week.
I'll find a way to collapse. In my experience, I've rarely seen the #1 team in the standings end up being the one to take the championship.
Is it bad that without looking at the username, I assumed I was responding to Puck? I would have said "you" instead of "Scik" if I hadn't thought that lol.
Interesting trade, E and 17a. It has the makings of unforeseen trade rape, but somehow I think it all averages out in the end.
I needed RB help right away, and although Mark Ingram isn't even close to being a top level fantasy back, he's healthy. Vincent Jackson and Roddy White should put up similar numbers.
There's nothing wrong with it whatsoever. Makes a whole lot of sense. It could just end up being a lot better for 17a if Felix comes back strong. Roddy's a disappointment this year. He could certainly turn things around, but as of right now I wouldn't count on it.
How so? White's still racking up receptions. If anyone's disappointed on the Falcons, it's been Matty Ice. As much as I like V-Jax, he's banged up too. With Floyd getting healthy and Gates coming back, his targets will decrease. I think they'll finish with similar statistics and fantasy points. Sean Payton wants to run the ball more to take some pressure off of Brees. I just hope Ingram picks it up and runs through that mythical rookie wall. Felix Jones just didn't work out for me and that killed my team - he's supposed to miss up to 4 weeks and I needed a starter.
