    My apologies:

    a) If this is 100% bunk. It's just a Pats blogger on Twitter.

    And...

    b) If this has been posted already.

Trade rumors about Robert Mathis and Reggie Wayne being dealt, and the Jets are the supposed front-runner for Mathis.

Thought it would be interesting for ya.

Following up on the rumors. The #Jets are the early favorites for Robert Mathis & the #Bills for Reggie Wayne. Still early. #NFL

    Robert Mathis

Hearing rumors that Mathis may be coming for a 4th round pick. Obviously he would be taught to play OLB. Thoughts?

    Here's a better false rumor:

    Jerry Hughes is good.

What I think is that we're well on our way to giving away half of our draft picks at a time where we should be adding depth to both lines.

    Jesus Christ.

Espn did a little segment with schefter giving trades that would make sense but won't happen this morning. That's where the rumor comes from.

Same with the Reggie Wayne to bills rumor too.

This is completely due to the Schefter report. He was talking about trades that SHOULD happen, not ones that were rumored.

Aren't they shopping Manning too while they are at it?

*Do you even think that makes any sense?*

Schefter also said the same thing about a week before we traded for Favre -- he said it was a situation that's plausible and would make sense.

    Not sayin; just sayin.

doubt that. if he was a jet, mathis would most likely have his hand in the ground 90% of the time.

245 lb Mathis would be facing guards in that instance unless our base was changed to 4 linemen.

I agree we need to stockpile draft picks... that should ALWAYS be our mantra...

Whether they want to admit it or not, the Colts are in a rebuilding mode. Andrew Luck is in their sights.

    A fire sale could happen.

And they keep Manning and his monster contract on their payroll too?
