Gotta say, the train to the stadium is really the greatest thing to happen in a long time. On a train full of rowdy Jets fans. It's really cool. Wish I could come. Didn't think about coming until far too late and tickets are now way to expensive for me. Hope you guys have a blast though!
Hmm. That may change things. The last time I tried to get to a game at the Meadowlands from Manhattan, all I remember is it was a total pain in the ass. Of course, that was before the big overhaul.
I'll make sure to have either "Slappy and the Stinkers" or "Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Roderick Rules" cued up for the two mopes sitting in business class.
I still have nightmares about that fing train, then again I had to get to south jersey not NYC so its probly a lot different.
Having a shit time with work and family at the moment so this is the one thing keeping me pumped. Looking forward to meeting my fellow freaks and drunks!! Will ignore the porn conversation but the train to the meadowlands is piss easy from Penn or Hoboken
Keep your head up Maynard a few weeks from now we will sinking a few cold ones, eating New York's best tailgate food, schmoozing with our brothers and celebrating being 5 and 3, oh wait...............
Thanks SJ...was meant to be on hols this week but firing a MD tends to put a hold on that!!! You can imagine how well that went down with the other half!! Roll on to sinking some Yuengling and other good beers from the Friday onwards my man!
I've been undergoing alcohol endurance marathons to prepare for this shindig. my tolerance is creeping back to the level I had in my college days. also jonnyd called me, wanted me to let you guys know hes out.
If you're taking the train, you're LATE. First train starts 3.5 hours before kickoff. We're parked and getting set up when the lots open T-minus 5 hours.
No, but there is a nice little park where a bunch of people are camping out downtown. you can join them if you like!
