The fact that non-Megatrons on offense have been hurting the Bears is bad news for the rest of the NFC. It seems that the Thanksgiving game between the Packers and the Lions could be quite the game.

That incredible run by Best really helped my fantasy team out.

To win this week, I just need Robbie Gould and the Bears defense to score within 20 points of Calvin Johnson.

The fact that I started the game legitimately concerned about it tells you pretty much all you need to know about Megatron. Aside from a motivated Randy Moss, I'm not sure that I can remember a more unstoppable force at receiver than Johnson.

How did Revis shut Calvin Johnson down?

Some combination of meticulous film study, jamming him at the line, safety coverage over the top, and knocking Stafford out of the game.

For what it's worth, Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald are the only receivers in football who I think are capable of beating Revis consistently (and that's only because there's really no defense for a well placed jump ball against those two, even if you are Revis Christ.)

I have never seen a team commit so many false starts in one game in my life. Is that 8?
    Edit: No, 7
    Edit II: hahahaha, there's 8

Did anyone else just see that commercial where Clay Matthews "stood up" John Conner in the backfield and everyone watching mimics Clay Matthews celebration. The advertisement agencies are starting to realize that shitting on the Jets sells.

Eh, Sanchez has been in at least 4 different commercials between this year and last. They started running the Matthews commercial yesterday.
I'd say it's more a product of us being a decent team recently and for all the headlines our team generates (good or bad).

    Bears defense embarrassing themselves.

Had to spike the ball, kick the FG and try the onside kick with 25-30 seconds left. Now it's too late to do anything.

Incredibly stupid last series for Chicago. Did it really matter? No, but you still have to at least give yourself a chance.

People say "No quarterback can succeed behind that type of OL."

Well, the Bears had 359 yards and 23 1st downs against the Lions defense. Only 13 points, but their best field position all night was their own 24 and they had like 9 false start penalties.

And I'm sure everyone on this board would prefer Holmes/Plax/Mason/Kerley to Williams/Knox/Hester/Sanzenbacher/Hurd.

That OL is trash, yet that offense still was decent, and Cutler still made some plays.

That was weird...they were playing like they were down 20 and had 0 chance to win.
