The primary purpose of this tailgate is to honor the memory of one of this board's most beloved members. Given how much he hated the Pats, it's the perfect date regardless of the team's performance. Giddiness over our playoff prospects has nothing to do with it.

Champ, you came in here bitching with your typically darksider approach because the Jets lost 2 games this season. Yes, I said....2 games. Big whoop... Matter of a fact, this game is about more than the Jets. Its as much about the Jets as it is about getting together with the guys we all celebrate and mourn the Jets successes and failures with, week in and out. I wish to apologized for suggesting U change the date of the T/Gate.. At the time I suggested that I was unaware PH has passed away. If I had known that at the time I made the suggestion I never would have made it :sad: I would like to send my condolences to his family & hope that PH RIP :sad:
