I thought Weis left a pro OC job to go be the OC at Florida? He's not an option. We have in-house options for this year but something's gotta change regardless. For all intents and purposes we had 14 points against the worst defense in football, two TD drives. The other was handed to them on a silver platter by McKnight.
What are you, retarded? Obviously defenses have adjusted to Keller and Shittenheimer has NO CLUE how to adjust back and open up the offense. The Pats have the worst D in the NFL and how many shots did we take down the field on them until the end when it was basically too late? How many 3 and outs did they have? Look, today Sanchez had time to throw the ball and we dont even go hard at their secondary. We dont even set up Holmes to burn McCourty or nothing. OK guys, I've seen the light. The notion that we didn't throw deep once on an awful secondary is enough to call for his head. That was about as bad a game as you can call...The execution wasn't outstanding, but Schotty's inability to grasp the concept that offenses can change its plan of attack over the course of the game is actually kind of startling. That being said, I don't really get the passion in this thread. He sucks, but he's here. He's gonna be here until the end of the year (and frankly, I'm not sure I want him fired midseason...Has that ever worked for anybody). So why not just suck it up and bump this thread in a few months? I appreciate the need to vent--TGG would not exist without it--But he's here, and that's that.
