    Sterling just said A-Rod rounding 3rd to score then says they held him up!!??

    How did we not score there? I'm on radio til 10 someone let me know, could he have scored?

    It was a pretty sharp one-hopper to the CF. A Rod would have probably been thrown out.

    I just came here to post that. I was describing to my mother (who's listening to the game) why John Sterling is the worst announcer I've ever heard.

    Guy doesn't even know what's going on, he doesn't know baseball, and he's stupid.

    If I had a dollar for every time Sterling has miscalled a play, I could retire right now.

    As I told her, he'll correct himself several seconds later, so you can't be sure whether a ball is caught, or whether it's a home run, or whether it's foul, or whether a guy struck out.
