Get back to me after 2 full games with Mangold in the lineup. I thought the offense looked good in weeks 1 & 2 and 1st half week 3...albeit a bit inconsistent but that's to be expected with all these new faces @ WR
Thing about the offense being 11th in scoring is we have plenty of plays from D or special teams that have put up points to put the offense in a spot to easily score points (FG range/red zone).
I think the Ravens game put our weaknesses's into a harsh ,stark light. If this staff can't adjust after looking at the film, then they really need to look at themselves.
1 good game out of 4 certainly makes me feel like this team can get on a huge roll over the last 12 games. If it was for Tony Romo's early christmas gift, this team would be 1-3. Thank God for the Jaguars..
You can't take away the Cowboys game because Romo threw an interception, they won the game and we are 2-2.
Yep.. Obviously, you can't take that win away, but we were outplayed most of that game. Hard to forget that. Our defense is good enough to be a playoff team. Our offense has a long way to go. The optimist in me says Plaxico will keep getting better as he shakes off the rust and learns the playbook, Sanchez will keep making strides when he has time to throw, and the offensive line will improve to the point that our running game gets going, and we look like the team we were last year. The realist in me says that's a lot that needs to go right, just to get back to the level we were at last year, which wasn't even good enough. It's certainly not impossible, and the Colts and Steelers seem to have taken a step back (or fallen off a cliff in the Colts case). But it's still a lot that needs to go right. And that's assuming the defense stays at the level it has. I assume that it will, but it's also had issues in 2 out of the 4 games.
Don't forget the race to be the first jackass to declare the game over, which is closely followed by the declaration "I'm going to the Mall".
The score was 24-24 when Romo threw the interception.....why does that mean it would have been a Cowboys win if he didn't throw it?
If the Jets win Sunday....i hump my old lady ( been 20 years)...just need a blue pill and a paper bag
It's pretty clear for me that we should just keep loosing, and hoping to get the first pick. Then we can start over next year with Andrew Luck!
That may be the best idea, I can see it now, We get Luck put him behind this shitty O-line and watch the Jets go 2-14 for the season. I'm pumped.
