Yeah, I think it may have been a small vial.

I saw that too and at first I thought he was over analyzing, but there is a still pic of that scene and walt is looking directly at the plant. I don't think it's a coincidence anymore. Also in the preview for the finale Walt is walking down a hospital corridor...maybe bringing an antidote for Brock??

Don't really know what to think. Hard to imagine Walt poisoning the kid, but after reading the quote Poeman posted above, I'm not so sure. Wouldn't be surprised if it is even something that hasn't been discussed.

    Awesome episode.

What if Saul Goodman really did it?

The big black dude checked Jesse's pockets you know before he let Jesse in to see him. He had been calling him the whole time.

What if Vince Gilligan is this awesome with his creativity?

I doubt that Skyler would allow poisonous flowers close to her baby, but ricin is made from a plant - maybe it gave him the idea?

The audience was led to believe that Walt didn't leave his property after that scene until he went to bomb Gus. Furthermore, assuming Walter poisoned Brock, how did he do it? Saul knows where Brock lives, but does Walt? In trying to think back to prior episodes, I am not recalling any where Walt was at Andrea and Brock's home.

Okay, let's suppose Walt does know where to find Brock. How is he getting into the house and how is he poisoning the kid?

I can be totally wrong about all of this, of course.

Yeah, that would be the way. Just slip something in the kid's cup. Only issue is how did Saul get the poison. Maybe Walt called him and told him which substance to pick up at the hardware store or pharmacy. Or something.

It did seem like they made a point in keeping Walt offscreen for an extra long time and multiple phone calls where he didn't answer, where he could have defintiely been up to something.

In my opinion, Gus knew something was up in the parking garage because someone else put the kid in the hospital.

I thought I saw Walt pan over quickly to another car in the parking garage with tinted windows.

Maybe they were with Gus and were told to give some sign...... like maybe leave if it was safe, and stay still if it wasn't.

I haven't rewatched it though, so I'm not sure.

Oh that would make sense and it would be brilliant.

I first thought it was Jesse's fault (leaving the pack unattended so the kid took the cig); then I was convinced it was Gus. Now option C) Walt makes more sense.

    This show is amazing.

    Good point.

Otherwise, I thought he may have spotted a reflection off Walts glasses? Your idea makes more sense though, I was like, OK, how the fuck can he sense an assassination like that?

I think Gus just had a sixth sense there.

When they were walking back to the car, he came to the realization that leaving it in a parking garage without supervision was a novice move.

I thought too, he saw the reflection of the sun off the binoculars or some shit...

They've been answering questions very quickly, we will probably find out in the season finale.

AMC has a video where Giancarlo Esposito says it has to do with the kid being poisoned. Now I don't know if that's just his theory or if he knows for sure that's the reason, but he said as Gus is walking to his car he just keeps hearing the line the kid was poisoned over and over again.

just shows how great this show is that even characters who are being introduced this far in are still damn good characters. huell and tyrus are so good and neither one of them say a word.

I re-watched the last episode and now I think Walt is the most likely child poisoner. Around noon he's scheming calmly while spinning his gun, then he disappears and the next time we see him, he is in his apartment all freaked out and paranoid. While would he do that or even be there unless he was waiting for Jesse?

On the other hand, Walt harming kids and also acting and lying that good in front of Jesse feels out of character. Sure, he watched Jane die and has constantly been lying to his own family, but it would more or less take a psychopath to come up with a plan like this. And I also find it difficult to see why Saul would put his neck on the line to help Walt fight dirty against Gus.

Walter's been a master manipulator and liar for almost this entire series. After the crawl space ending, it's obvious that the dude's gone off the deep end. I think he's capable of anything.
