Lets hope we can create unique defensive schemes to get to brady, because right now we cannot get to the QB and we cannot run the ball
I don't think you guys will get to Brady. But I think your run game will pick up a bit. If that happens, and you can get our core to play run, it's going to make it really tough for us to stop your offense. And we're getting frustrated very quickly on the D side of things. We either come together this game, or we fall apart and continue to struggle. Being on the pats side, this is a very important game for us, mentally. That's what I feel, at least. I do think Both sides will have some exotic blitz schemes, though. We'll see who wins that fuck-fuck game.
I can't understand why a Miami, New England or Buffalo fan would come to this site. What is the motivation?
in years past the patriots gave us match up problems with welker and moss, now revis can cover welker, and branch doesn't strike fear in no one, should be a good game.
After watching both of these teams for 4 weeks I'm excited about the game as a divisional match up but I don't see this as a marquee match up of 2 of the NFL's best teams.
Sadly, I agree lol I'm still not sold that both The Pats and The Jets are not elite teams, though. Again, this game is very important. The Jets, to me, really need to stop talking to the media, though. I've been noticing that they're talking about their offensive play calling, and such? The locker room blackout, I think, is a better policy. But again, that's not rex.
I'm sure for some fans it's to talk smack. For others, it's to talk about football. Would you prefer to have only Jets fans on this site? For me, I welcome having opposing fans on our board, as long as they're respectful.
I understand it when say the Jets are playing that fans team. Otherwise I have no idea why a Dolphins fan would be here, especially when things are already bad enough as it is for them. Henne is probably done for the year.
Hey, if I was to sit on a pats forum all the time, do you really think I'd have a good understanding of my team? There's a lot of good info put out by forum posters, but if you don't check out info being provided from all sides, you just end up with a skewed perspective.
We're divisional rivals. For me, I follow the Jets every week. And contrary to what some may think, I don't want the Jets to be a weak team. The rivalry is good for both teams. That said, I do hope for a Pats win when we play:grin:
Perspective. Most fan sites are homer-ridden circle jerks. I'm kind of a cynic by nature, so it works for me. I don't just post here though. I waste a TON of time on forums!
If you're an opposing team fan who comes to different message boards, I totally get that, but you need to be a forum junkie. I occasionally stop in at PatsFans or FinHeaven, but very rarely. Of course, very few of my friends are Jets fans, so I get a hell of a lot of perspective that way. Opposing team fans are always welcome. You will be on a shorter leash than a Jets fan, but we appreciate the different perspectives, as long as you aren't trolling. And once you've been here a while, you'll get a longer leash once you prove you're not just trolling. CaliKid, while I love the Patriots-Jets rivalry, it wouldn't bother me if the Patriots lost every game left this year. I would root for Miami to go 0-16, but I don't want them to get Luck. Let them go 2-14, get the #2 pick, and may he be a spectacular bust! As for this game, as a Jets fan, I don't know how confident you can be, but I kind of throw out last week's game in terms of comparing it to this week. New England simply doesn't have the personnel to shut down our offense the way Baltimore's front 7 could last week. As a result, our offense will be able to function, and Sanchez should have time to throw. That alone will give us a chance, which we really didn't have last week.
What did the Patriots do last regular season at Foxboro to shut down our offense? If I remember correctly, we couldn't get anything going.
