Limited, fuck yeah. We have no OL and can not run. We have a OC who needs to be fired yesterday. Our WRs are pedestian, they don't get open. Sanchez is not confident, not a warrior and is not the sharpest tool in the toolbox.
Uh, no. Should have gone with 09 Ben Roethlisberger. He got destroyed over and over again all season long and still threw for more than 4000 yards and 25 TDs in 15 games.
Wait until next week! Sanchez is going to have a lot more time. I think he's going to have a big day. I'm only hoping he turns the ball over a few times.
Year 1, Rookie. Year 2, still young, fewer mistakes. Year 3, shit O-line. Shit doesn't go like clock-work mistakes happen. Go find some board of some established "elite QB" who has shit the bed. Rivers threw 3 picks against the Pats and basically gave them the game. Following week Brady threw four picks against the Bills, huge reason they lost, I'd think. No one is saying he's great. He's just not the problem. He has a lot to work on, and we are slightly limited by him. But we are hugely limited by the O-line. Nothing I have said in this regard is inaccurate.
Honestly i don't think Sanchez will give you much more then he already has, i think he will be gone 3yrs from now.
It's really that simple. Good man. If others would get some control over their emotions, pull their heads out of their ass, they might see some reason as well. I swear, everyone is acting like we have no shot at the playoffs right now. It is fucking stupid, it is only 4 games into the season! lol
I honestly believe Ryan Mallet would do better as a starter 3-4yrs from then Sanchez will & Mallet will get no playing time in NE.
Next week? Tom Brady has been waiting to get that nasty taste out of his mouth since losing to the Jets in the payoffs. This one is circled on his calender. WTF do we do when we go 2-3 next week smart guy? Do we make a hopefull chance that we can win most of our remaning games? Lets get real, this is not our season so we must prepare for the draft and hit on all our choices. If Shotty is still here next season, expect more of the same till he is fucking gone. I am fucking done.
IF you lose to the Patriots the season is over? I seem to remember a different outcome last season, not sure IF this season will play out the same way, but to say the season is over with a loss to the Patriots isn't true.
Why are you spending your time adding nothing of value to the board and providing no insight or base for realisitic discussion? I don't usually blow whistles, but I think I just defined troll. Kinda sad really.
I doubt it. He hasn't looked good so far. I think BB way over paid for an aging and injured player. Sanchez wil have plenty of time.
I was just thinking I wish we had one of those 'unlimited QB's'. Either Ironman, or the Yellow Power Ranger.
I've been one of the more vocal negative voices this season (which usually isn't me, I'm usually more optimistic/homerish). The playoffs are not the goal. The goal is to get home playoff games and win a Super Bowl. And today looked like the 2007 Jets on offense. It looked like Kellen Clemens running for his life behind a shitty OL with WRs who couldn't get open. But it was today. Without a miracle week 1 victory where Romo and a blocked punt hand us the game, we'd be 1-3 right now. We haven't had a running game all year, and Sanchez is not good enough to carry this team on his shoulders. He can go along for the ride and not screw it up if he has a good line in front of him, like he did the last 2 seasons, but I want a Super Bowl. I don't want to fall short again. I want a Super Bowl. Playoffs? Sure, you need to get into the playoffs to have a chance. But I want a Super Bowl. I realize that's months away, but right now, we look pretty awful. When our defense plays well, our offense lets up. When our offense plays decently, our defense lets up. And right now, our offensive line is just a sieve. Mangold is immensely important, we all know that. But we'd have issues if any of our other OL went down, too. It wouldn't be nearly as bad as it is now, but it's not like we played well for the first 2 games when Mangold was healthy. This team lacks depth almost across the board, and we don't appear to have the young talent ready to step in and give us a boost if we need it. Green Bay and Pittsburgh suffered as many injuries as anyone in the league, and they were in the Super Bowl last year. I don't want to go on the road and take the hard way to the Super Bowl. And right now, it's hard to see it going any other way. I realize we need to have some caution in writing this team off. And by no means am I doing it. But our offense, even with Mangold on the field, is average at best. And people saying we aren't limited with Sanchez are out of their minds. We've been hiding our QB for the better part of 3 years. If we had a better QB, he'd have better numbers, and he'd win more in the regular season as well, not just the postseason. We're slowly taking the reigns off him, but watch a top 8 QB play and watch Sanchez play, and there's a big difference. I don't care that there aren't that many great QBs. Great QBs win Super Bowls. That's what I want Sanchez to be. He's still young enough to become that, but he's developing more slowly than I was hoping.
