Kerry Rhodes might agree with this statement. Cromartie is maddeningly inconsistent, though. I don't think anyone can disagree with that. Having said that, not many teams can use a guy his caliber as their number two CB. He can definitely be a force at times. With his height and speed, he should be.
Not an argument, just a statement. McCourty went to the pro bowl last year. He's the #1 CB for a division rival. I doubt he would be able to make the #3 corner spot on the Jets roster. With Revis on the other side, any other corner we put in the game going to get thrown at. Cro would be the #1 corner on most other NFL teams, and wouldn't be the target he appears to be on the Jets.

Really? #1 CB on most teams? Name 17 of them. That would be most teams since 16 is half of them. He wouldnt be #1 or #2 with us and only Oakland and San Francisco had interest when he was available. You would think teams who need a #1 CB would be all over it. Jonathon Joseph got more bank than Cromartie got and he went to Houston who showed no interest in Cro and they had the worst secondary in the league.
