What I was getting at a few posts ago. Walt -> Hero -> Villain Gus -> Villain -> Hero That's why I feel like Gus survives this season and for a few episodes they go back to show his Chilean roots. Because of this the audience will form larger empathatic affinity for Gus. Then Walt kills Gus and the audience is pissed because they fell in love w. Gus and fell out of love w/ Walt.
Only think that sort of reaction would happen if he killed Hank or Pinkman. I don't think anyone one will be upset with Walter if he kills The Chicken Man. It's been a long time coming. However, I do feel like everyone likes Mike the Fixer. If Mike survives Mexico and decides to stay loyal to Gus, he'll have to die. Saul also screwed Walter over by helping Skyler "fix" the Beneke situation. It's highly doubtful that he is killed off, but it seems like Walter's gone mad. He has nothing to lose, so anything can happen. ...can't wait to see how this season ends. It will be incredible.
Because that was the episode they showed when I decided to start watching. I'm picking it up, its pretty self-explanatory, I just need to figure out the backstory on the characters. I could google it, but I prefer to just keep watching. I work 60 hrs a week, and have too much shit to do when I'm not at work, so I don't have time to sit and watch 2 seasons of a show, its not going to happen. I'm sorry it took so long to start watching the show, but I like it, so you don't have to hold it against me any more
How am I holding it against you? It's not going to affect me in any of way if you choose to watch it this way. You don't have to watch 3 seasons of the show in one sitting, it'd be much more enjoyable if you start from the beginning and take your time with it. Just a suggestion.
Just started watching this a few days ago from the start and i think I'm up too episode 12 on netflix called Negro Y Azul, this is such an amazing show and I can't wait to catch up to the recent shit.
Wait till you start season 3. That is when the epicness of this show really comes into play. It is also where the characters they introduce mid season 2 really start to become mainstays Gus/Mike/Saul etc........
Shit I already thought it was pretty fucking nuts..... This sounds awesome, I havent been more excited about a show in awhile. Thanks for the heads up man.
Yeah, I think that's how he'll die. I don't think someone will kill him. I don't like Gus and I never did. I don't know if a backstory will make me like him. You can do that, but you are doing yourself a major disservice to not watch all the episodes in order. There is only going to be one more season. Upon completion of the program there will be 62 episodes. I suggest that you buy the DVDs and watch them at a slow pace. Watch one episode per week if you have to. I betcha you'll get more enjoyment out of it that way instead of reading one paragraph summaries of the first 43 episodes.
This show is way too intense... CANT TAKE MUCH MORE OF THIS...Actually I will be sad when next week's episode ends the season
Last night's ep was good but it wasn't as strong as the prior 3, IMO. There was everyone's answer to how Jesse and Walt get back together.
