Not even close. Flacco (through 3 games, granted) has played on a whole different level this season. He has made very notable improvements in areas that he was previously weak in (how fast he reads progressions being the biggest).

As for Flacco being a high percentage passer, you do realize that he has a career 61.4% completion percentage, which is 6% higher than Sanchez?

Flacco is not better than any of the QB's on the 3rd tier.
    The hell you smoking?

Valid criticism, but if that is all you can say about Flacco, then I stand by my opinion.

    This.

Flacco and Ryan are in tier 3.5 and if they don't produce soon the experts are going to get off their nuts and they will drop to 4th tier.

Okay, just for the sake of argument, let's merge tier 2 and 3.

That still puts Flacco in a tier above Sanchez, which is what the original discussion was about.

What? I don't care about whatever tier you want to put them in, but who in their right minds do not think Flacco or Ryan has not produced their entire careers?

    The "experts" are rarely that...

yeah duh obviously flacco is better than sanchez. what the fuck is the point of posting that? but dont like flacco is so far away from sanchez its ridiculous to compare them.

to be honest i would keep sanchez, because ive seen him pull off more shit than flacco has. flacco is just more consistent.

What's up with the language, man? Just talking football with you.
The point of saying that was to dispute other people's claims that Flacco and Sanchez are on the same tier.
That might someday be true, but it clearly isn't as of right now.

ben and vick are on a different level. flacco and eli are at least at the same level and i feel like romo would be slightly under..he can have big games, but he's just one of the biggest choke artists.

The interior OL of NYJ vs. Haloti Ngata. It's not going to end well.

    Ravens 23, Jets 6

Ray Rice is better than McFadden.

sure McFadden has the better size/speed ratio, Ray Rice is surrounded by better players thus making any debatable difference in talent a non factor.

I'm a huge fan of both players though.

Well, if it means anything, Ngata will also be playing RE a lot, with Terrance Cody playing NT.

A guy to keep an eye on is McPhee at LE. We sub him in fairly often, and so far has been very disruptive as a pass rusher.

I think the NYJ will have to absolutely commit to the ground game. Keep the pass rush honest, and give Sanchez time to make a play when you need him to.

Love McFadden too. It's a shame his career is being wasted in OAK...having a guy like him would do wonders for Sanchez.

Who else thinks this is a 13-10/ 10-6 game?

LT needs more touches and also in the screen game...

haha, I know right...maybe you can follow that up with a fade to Plaxico in the red zone.

Mangold could play without practicing according to PFT.

Someone on the Ravens forum came across an interesting stat regarding that...

including the playoffs, the NYJ are 10 - 10 when Sanchez throws the ball 30+ times.

Not sure what, if any, bearing this has on the game Sunday night, but just food for thought
