Just 3 games, but it's encouraging to see nonetheless. Different feeling from 2008 too, b/c they've actually beat a couple good teams already.

This is the second time you have brought this up. Of course he has never played a whole season because this year is his FIRST as a starter. He was viewed as a career backup until mideseason last year. It's not like he is injury prone either so I'm not sure what you're getting at? Plus our overachieving O-line has only given up 1 sack and that was early in the KC game. He'll play all 19 games this year

When did this become a Bills message board?

Always nice to see the underdog succeed, but I suspect things may get a bit hairy when he has to manage an offense against 11 men on defense. I also hope that when the Bills begin their eventual collapse into the basement that he doesn't get discouraged. It would be nice if the Bills can be an perennial seven-win team just to keep the rest of the division and the conference honest.

If we wanted that, we would have kept Jauron.

We have their entire fan base posting here so I guess they decided this was easier than making their own MB.

Good one. It would be even funnier if it had an ounce of truth to it, but nice try.

You mean the bills have more than 4 fans that aren't from Canada?

If Brady weren't putting up historic numbers, I'd agree. As it stands, what the Bills have done thus far is a miracle for that franchise, so it certainly feels ok to honor them with a meaningless September award. Still, I sure as hell wouldn't say Fitz earned it over Brady...especially not when one of them is able to call upon one of the leading rushers in the league.

If Brady hadn't thrown 4 picks and lost to the Bills I would definitely have picked Brady as the player of the month.

That game should have been 56 to 35 Pats! But coulda and shoulda don't mean much. The Bills won and credit to them. I still don't think they'll make the playoffs, but I was wrong about this past week, so...

Fitzpatrick won that award by beating Brady last Sunday. Had it been the other way around, Brady would have won it.

Might not be fair to give out a monthly award like that but that's how (I assume) they must have broken the 'tie'.
