Pretty amazing windup to the season - Rays score 7 to tie it and are now in the 11th, Braves and Phils go to extra innings with the Braves eliminated in the 13th to complete a massive collapse, and Red Sox are up 1 in the 9th.

Papelbon strikes out the first two batters in the 9th, and then blows the save with back-to-back doubles. You can't make this stuff up.

And Papelbon completes the collapse for a loss. Rays win and they're in.

The Braves are very happy that the Red Sox were here to completely obscure their collapse with an even bigger one.

Haha... the Mets are off the hook for an epic September collapse. Maybe Roberto Loungo sucking cock in the Stanley Cup was the last break the Massholes would get. Hahaha order returning to the world.... Boston still fucking sucks!!!

The best part is that Buck Showalter got to stick his foot up Boston's ass after that bullshit before the AS game.

Seriously. What's his legacy in Boston? He has 2 Championships, which is huge, but this is big.

And the gag reflex by the closer completes the collapses! ATL and BOS perfected the fail train. The closer failure is always keep to the epic collapse and both teams did it perfectly.

Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers won the NL Cy Young today, well deserved. First Dodger to win it since Eric Gagne in 2003.

Next up is to see if Matt Kemp is the MVP, then hopefully McCourt sells the team.

i think upton or pujols will take the prize, their teams at least accomplished something and that usually is a factor for the voters.

Usually. It would be odd to have the Cy Young and MVP both from a team barely over 500, but Kemp had a year deserving of the award.
