It doesn't seem like it. Even before Gus killed the other Cartel guys Hector was still under his thumb in a nursing home. Now that the Cartel is wiped out and his whole family is dead though he may reconsider his silence if the police come back to him again. But I doubt that would show up until next season if at all.

I didn't see this happening at all, but the aftermath of the cartel massacre has me wondering.

I doubt he has any pull left, and even if he did he'd have a hell of a time trying to communicate anything.

I think Hank's done investigating for a while. He'll be under house arrest now that Saul made that anonymous call about the cartel placing a hit on him.

From the looks of the promo, Gomez is doing some investigating. ...maybe Hank sends him on a mission.

I meant in season 5. Hector will still be around.

Gomez is another good one, but he also looks like he can get himself killed in this sort of a job

Did anyone else know right away that he was going to purposely get into a car accident?

How do we know he's dead? It's kind of lame to have him dying by tripping over a rug.

Tio Hector was watching Bridge on the River Kwai. Anyone familiar? I'm seeing some theories about how Breaking Bad might be influenced by it.

It's hilarious, because Ted was fucking pitiful.

    Madness! Madness!

If you watch the promo, it looks like Walter is building some kind of detonator...an explosion may happen in the near future.

I kind of am thinking this too, maybe Mike's poor treatment in the hospital is what sets him over the edge.

I think that's the beginning of it but it'll take a little more than that. I think we will see what "a little more" is next week.

I think something's going to happen to Holly. She has to have a purpose since she's really had no real impact yet, and Gus's poor treatment of kids, ("your infant child") combined with Jesse's connection with kids throughout the entire series (From Pekaboo to his fury over Gus killing the kid to just playing video games with one at the gir's house) makes me think that something will happen.

I think that Mike would've agreed that Gus get treated first. He's the consummate professional.

Maybe nitpicking a bit, but... they seem to be underrating the cartel (and Gus) resources.
I mean, maybe they're just small players in the game, but they portray them as a couple of groups that have been around for an incredible amount of time (drug cartel's timewise) which should make them a lot more powerful than they seem.
I mean, it doesn't make much sense that Hector is not living in his own mansion surrounded by his own army -unless he has had some problems with Don Eladio-, or that Gus is in need to get in so much trouble to go back to the USA.

Whatever. The show is great anyway.

Sure, your job is to risk your life in order to save his, you can't complain if they try to save him first.

    ---

Off course Ted's dead was funny... it also was stupid.
I'd expect to see that kind of accidents happening in other kind of shows.
But I'm not complaining anymore, really.

I could see Gus asking Mike to kill Walt's family including the infant and him having second thoughts about it considering he has grandchildren.

After a slow start, this season has really picked it up over the last few episodes. This week's episode was excellent. Loved the end.

The slow burning start to this season was a thing of beauty.
