Wait til he talks about the giants game... eagles having to sit vick, poor tackling, offsides on 4th down, etc... Sorry but I believe the eagles gave that one away. What was more annoying than Fatso (who was kind of fair actually), was the Giants fans who called in to say things like "These Jets fans need to cool it!" and "They're a 500 team at best!". Oh really, asshole? Get back to me on Christmas Eve and we'll see. The Giants pulled out a game against Mike Kafka yesterday when the Eagles played their absolute worst. If the Jets had a game like that, the crap Fatso and Giants fans would be saying would be comical.
Mike just called Ryan "dumb" for saying that because they had passing yards, they were able to move the ball effectively through the air in the post-game conference. Chunky said just because you throw it short and the guy makes someone miss or the back gets yards doesn't mean you have a prolific passing attack. You don't have a prolific attack unless you throw the ball down the field all day. Uhm... Mike? See Rice, Jerry? Or yesterday... see Welker, Wes? The Jets never threw the ball down field yesterday, other than long pass to Keller late in the middle of the field. True. Their O-line didn't allow for it, and Schottenheimer (no more nickname, he doesn't merit it) is not adaptable enough to exploit what a defense is giving him (and hasn't been for three years; the lockout saved Shottenheimer's job, but that's another thread), but that doesn't mean they didn't have an effective passing game yesterday. Sanchez has guys who can make plays with the ball, and he gets them the ball. Manning threw 4 TDs yesterday. 2 to backs, a screen and an uncovered 20 yard wheel, a short pass to Cruz he took to the house, and a jump ball that Cruz got over Nnamdi (haha!). He had a magnificent game. You take what the defense gives you. 13 passes to backs means that Sanchez was under pressure and took what was there. Look Chubby has made some solid points... nothing which my wife would not have pointed out as well after watching the first 3 games with me, but okay. Fair points. It's the glee he takes in making them, and it's his sarcasm in addressing Ryan's defense overall. All Rex Ryan has said is, at the end of the year, he believes he will have a top defense in the league. He has had it before, and he feels he will have it again. After the game, he said they got their butt kicked, said they got out physicalled and out coached. Shoot, there was an article in the Post today by Vaccarro that says the jets NEED to talk more again, NEED to say they are the best team even when they lose. And they didn't yesterday. They said they got beat by the better team that day. So to come on today, 3 weeks into the season and declare in the most dramatic fashion possible that "... the Jets... are just another team... in the AFC... back afta dis" is just his usual nonsense. Call Rex dumb to his face. I dare you. Now we get to listen to him kiss Coach Coughlin's ass for 20 minutes.

according to mike, the jets offense has done nothing in the 3 games. atrocious against dallas. atrocious yesterday. defense is always atrocious. yet somehow they're 2-1. i guess it's all luck.

Hes 100% correct. The Jets are just another team in the AFC. we have one great player. We dont even have one great aspect. Meaning, as a whole, we dont have a great secondary, LBers, O-line blah blah blah. We're ordinary.
