When are people, and this is not directed in any way toward you Murrell, gonna realize this is our QB, this is our now and future, this is the guy who's gotten us to AFC Championship game twice in a row. We had Brett Favre and you saw how far we got with him. Unbelievably he got the Vikes to NFC Championship Game the year after that. So, don't give me any of that he was on the downside of his career bullshit. Not many QBs just put on their jock straps and make it deep into the playoffs. You have to perform, and ours does.
Brady made 4 bad decisions today, and he's a Hall of Famer. Sanchez is going to make bad mistakes, all QBs do, but today's loss was not his fault.
funny you say that... I got a feeling during the second quarter that the field was wider than usual, thereby allowing the Raiders running backs more room to easily out maneuver the Jets defense.
I don't think anyone in this thread has said that but many people seem to taking it that way. The Brady shit should end. How many games in a row will he go without a pick this year, 5, 8, 10? We need Sanchez to go n one his stretches with no picks going into these next two games.
Sanchez did go 5 straight games without a pick last season, you know. Not sure how we can accurately quantify his progress before the season is over.
That's what I was referring to, sorry if that wasn't clear. Take a look through the thread a bit and see basically everyone says he has obviously progressed. He can't make one or two bad throws that end up as turnovers all year, though. He needs to go for a few games without any of that. All the top qb's do it.
He's showing great ability in these games to make good passes, and then he makes us scratch our heads with absolutely idiotic passes. Clearly he has the skill, but he can't get away from these bonehead plays.
Yeah, I hear you. Sometimes I get the feeling as if the Sanchez we've seen last season is the Sanchez we'll have for a long time. That's the worst case scenario, so it isn't all that bad.
I watched the earlier Pats-Bills game, and there is a feeling that Brady is always going to make something positive happen when he stands in the pocket. It was a shock to see him throwing picks. Sanchez is the opposite: the anticipation with him is that something bad could happen at any time, and relief when something good happens. I get excited when he just makes a completion.
Big ben, 3 turnovers in the first half. Overthows a pass by 10 yards for an INT. Cut him on the field.
you must have been humping your couch when he threw 3 TDs in Foxboro during the Divisional Game last season, huh?
Sanchez will get his pass too when he becomes an elite QB... You know, win a SB. Until then, this talk of potential is hogwash!!
