The game next week is of monumental importance because I have a bad feeling about the rematch with the Pats. However, if Mangold plays, I honestly believe we have a great shot in Baltimore.
You are actually making my point with the O-line almost getting sanchez killed. Did that surprise you with the injuries we have? With our O-line the way it is, you wouldn't have signed up for 24 points? We had an undrafted rookie replacing Mangold for shits sake. Our D proved to be vastly overrated and lost the game. How do you excuse a 200 yard rusher and 34 points given up? QB's throw picks. Believe me, I agree, He can't make those throws anymore, but we still lost because of the D.
Many of the sacks on Sanchez were coverage sacks. He would take his three- or five-step drop and find nobody. Stanford Routt had a great game. I was watching Baxter all game, and he didn't do too badly. Hunter and Slauson had a few miscues, but this is a good D-Line. The pass pro looked good enough in the fourth quarter, and Sanchez did toss for almost 400 yards.
did you even read my post? I didn't excuse the defense at all. And yes, I expect our oline depth to step in and do their job when called upon. Koppen went down, and Brady almost has 1500 yards passing for the first 3 weeks.
I really thought this team was past these types of performances. I envy Packers' fans. Shit, even the Giants, with their 40 players on injured reserve, managed to take care of business yesterday.
The ravens played like dogshit at tenn. Their defense got torched by matt fuckin hasselback. They're just as capable of having a shit game as we are. Let's not go off the deep end.
A banged up Jets O-line w/o Mangold that's given up a plethora of sacks to opposing DT's now goes against the best DT in the game this week. Yikes.
The Pats are beatable and also, why do so many here continue to panic after a Jets lost? The Pats proved that they dont know how to play in a tight close game yet again. Their D is sh!tty, McCourty getting burned left and right, and they have trouble at times stopping the run. So why are you scared of em? And Tom Brady was getting little pressure, yet he throws 4 interceptions which cost them the game. As already pointed out, the Ravens got killed by... the Titans. Stop crying. The Jets could come out of this road trip alive and well. We had the RAIDERS but lack of adjustment in the 2nd half cost us the game.
Looking more and more like they haven't learned from the AFC Championship game last year. Like they are so fucking laxed. I hope Rex cursed them the fuck out like children yesterday!
As a gambler that game was one I love to bet. Oakland played on Monday night, then traveled West to East so they lost 3 hours on their body and had to play at 10AM Oakland time. Now granted they had a big lead but I think the Bills have a better OL then people assumed it would be. I'm buying into them, maybe they'll come crashing to the Earth but they have some very good and very underrated players. Fred Jackson is a very good RB and what they are doing is making teams pay for their mistakes. I didn't look at the box score but I'd be curious to see how many points they scored off Brady turnovers. I know they scored at least 7.
Very ironic to say the least. I give Oakland credit they did things to force us into the mistakes we made. If teams like the jags and raiders were able to sack Sanchez then what will ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs do next week?
