I really thought we put these kind of let downs behind us. Tough fucking loss... Sanchez was garbage today. Holmes must hate him. O-Line was garbage. Sanchez must hate them. Cro was garbage and run d was garbage. fucking aweful No hot dogs for sanchez today.
Do people expect 16-0 out of us? We're going to be between 11-5 and 13-3. That's because at the end of the year we still look back to see that we blow a few games, and this is one of those situations. McFadden runs all over a lot of people, and he had a good O-Line today as opposed to ours. We got fucked by the refs a lot too. Sanchez had over 300 yards passing despite a shitty line. He fucking tried. What game did half of you watch?
All 3 in this game. Definitely questionable play calls at times, Sanchez threw that terrible pick after Kerley had them set up in field goal range already and the line was terrible in the 3rd quarter and didn't play much better in the rest of the game. All around loss everywhere you look.
This defense let the Raiders march down and get a field goal at crunch time..Calvin Pace's penalty was huge, he sux and has never done anything, but give Eli a blooody lip in an exhibition game...
No, but losing this game means it's better than 50-50 we're 2-3 at the end of this trip now. We never beat the Ravens and the Pats'll want blood after the playoff loss.
Worst case scenario we split the pats. The only team they're going to sweep is Miami. Do the math and tell me if that makes you feel any better.
Agreed. Had we been able to score or kick the field goal we could have tried for the onside and lost with dignity. Everyone go to the bar and shake this off. Its the Raiders, they've been doing this to us for 4 decades in some games and in others we do it to them. That's football. :shit:
I watched the D give up 34 including a rusher break 200 yards. If we score 24 with a broken, makeshift O-line, the loss is on the D.
Because on a yearly basis the Pats go 12-4 and 14-2 and we can't blow games like this. And we are going to Baltimore and to Foxboro the next 2 weeks where even at our best we may scrap by with 1-1
Now you've given this to me with the best explanation and use of logic, so I'll agree with you and subsequently be pissed and scared now. (no sarcasm) I'm as upset at the team and the mistakes made from the coaching down to the players as the rest of you. All I'm saying is this shit happens historically against Oakland. All we can do is move on and hope for 2-0 these next two weeks while we may scrape by 1-1.
Dude, it was first down if he just tosses that out of bounds they have chances to score a td or end up kicking a field goal. Then we can get into how that changes the rest of the game. One of many terrible plays on all 3 phases of the game.
I saw a Sanchez INT that took points off the board after beautiful punt return from Kerley. And the oline almost got Sanchez killed on more than one occasion. I'm not discounting the D either, they certainly share the blame.....but open your eyes, the O sputtered too. They keep making mistakes that they shouldn't be making.
At the end of the day we will have to beat the Pats. Losing today hurts, but in the long run it wont matter as much.
Cro's fumble hurt a lot. That gave them a short field and a pretty easy seven on the board. Sanchez sacked four times in the second half. It was just a bad day all around can't just pin this lose on one phase of the game. The Jets will bounce back.
That's a bit misleading because, when the game was up for grabs, our offense shit the bed right along with our defense. Personally, I thought the game changed on the 4th and 2 gamble that didn't work out. Having said that, I can't argue that the defense let us down big time today. The two biggest plays of the game were the Darren Mcfadden 70 yard touchdown run and the missed 4th and 2 gamble. The Mcfadden play was so critical because we were up ten and their offense looked lifeless. If we get a stop there, the game probably works out very differently.
