Bills D may suck, but it's a lot better than the pats defense so far this year in about every stat category. If the pats get into a defensive struggle late in the game it may be tough for them to make a stop.
The Bills are the only 2-0 team to have a home game this week. Hopefully homefield reigns supreme this week!!!!
Well, only one team in the AFC East can be undefeated after week 5. So I'd say the odds of you being right are pretty high.
that is what im hoping to see come Sunday. A lot of people expect the Pats to be up by 21 by the half but I dont see it happening. If the Bills want people to think they really are legit, they will bring their A game this Sunday, and I think they will.
not true. if the bills beat NE this week, they can be 5-0, and the Jets can be 5-0. but supposing NE beats buffalo this week (big supposition i know), only one team can be undefeated after the Jets-pats matchup.
In fact, both teams can be 7-0 leading up to their first meeting of the season right after the Jets bye week.
President Regan started all that fuzzy math stuff when he convinced the nation if we give the billionaires a free ride we'd all end up rich.
I know it's early in the season, small sample size etc. but the Bills have also scored more points this season than the pats on fewer yards. Yes, and I'm the one that also says stats don't mean much on Sundays. I'll be a bills fan for a few hours this week.
The two defenses don't play each other. The Bills certainly have a chance here given the state of the Patriots D but then I thought San Diego had a much better chance AND defense and they lost. So we'll see.
True, but I've noticed they both represent their team on the field during a game. Again, based on meaningless early stats, the bills are comparable on offense and a lot stronger on defense. Might get interesting but I'm not going to bet your life on it. Ok, maybe I will.
That is the $64,000 question. Yeah. Given two mediocre defenses, I'll take Brady and the Pats offense any day. The Bills can prove me wrong but we'll see.
I wouldnt go as far as saying they suck. When you Win or Lose, you win or lose as a team. The Pats are 2-0. Yes, Their offense is much better than their Defense, but you got to realize if the Defense wouldnt have stopped opposing teams from scoring, then we could be talking a bout an 0-2 or a 1-1 start. Are they The best Defense in the NFL? No, Far From it. But They get the Job Done. By the way, I hate the Pats, but just want to be real
I don't get how a bunch of you are saying the Bills defense stinks, what are you basing this off? last weeks 35 points given up against the Raiders? Guess how many plays we have sent any of our LB'S or DB'S on a blitz the first 2 weeks? The answer is 1, the last play of the Raiders game they sent Merriman and that was still only a 3 man rush. You really think we are just going to sit back against the Pats? Hell no, we'll probably be sending blitzes and getting pressure all game long. Bellicheck literally has no tape on what our defense may do. Im glad we have them this early in the season. Clearly our gameplan the first 2 weeks was to contain 2 of the NFL's best rushers in Charles and McFadden and we did just that. I may be in over my head a little bit here but here i go... Bills..... 31 *Pats...16
We have everything going our way right now. What I would like to see on offense is run, run, run, and take some time off the clock as we march up and down the field. Jackson and Spiller have been running like madmen so far this year. Watch our for David Nelson too, I'm thinking he'll have a 10 catch game with 100 + yards. We should physically dominate on the line on both sides of the ball. We need this game because we have a rough stretch of playing the NFC east and you guys after next weeks game against the Bengals. My only concern on Defense is Mckelvin and his shitty play. But I'll wait to see how he does with our front 7 getting some pressure on the QB first before i condemn him.
