Then I guess you don't know what to do with good material. Because you're just not funny... or very knowledgeable for that matter.
NFL Fines for 2010 and earlier. http://www.justfines.com/listTeamFines.php?year=ALL There was a fine for this on Matt Cole for a hit on Matt Schaub last year.
You're welcome to go fuck yourself. I've been a member of this board alot longer than you have. And I guarantee I add more to the conversation than the smarmy bullshit you put out.
You got what you wanted but stop trolling pats fans who aren't doing anything until you provoke them. Next time I won't be giving you the jets fan get out of jail free card. You know better than this.
Read the first couple of pages UKK. I made comments that had nothing to do with the banned poster and was attacked my Mr. Lang. And he's done it several times before. I understand what you are saying, but in this case the provoking was not initiated by myself.
You're asking a hypothetical question but yes, I believe that would have been a fine if a less-well-known QB had been involved. If this was about protecting higher profile players and not doing the same for others, there probably would have been a penalty called on it (as there should have been, by the letter of the rule). It's probably just gotten more attention than it might have because, 1) It's Brady, and like him or not, he's the reigning MVP of the league, and 2) He had his knee blown out once already, and I'm not sure that guys come back from second ACL tears in the span of three years.
You made blanket statements about pats fans whining, of course one of them was gonna say something to you. You get a pass this time but you do need to cut it out. That's all I have to say on this, anything else not pertaining to this thread can be done in a PM if you have anything else you want to say.
Other than a brief press release about the fine, it's really not getting much attention outside of the pats/pats fans bubble.
Hasn't even gotten much attention here, to be honest. I just took a quick trip 'round my usual Pats forum and couldn't find a thread. I think we're just collectively just relieved that we're not talking about the dawn of the "Brian Hoyer Era" in NE. Wouldn't have bothered me either way if the guy hadn't been fined. It was just an ugly hit, and after '08 you kind of hold your breath for a minute to see if he gets up.
Just say though, in the hypothetical sense... Would it have meant as much if the Jets had won the AFCE and the Super Bowl in a year when their main obstacle was injured? I mean, it would have still been great for you guys I'm sure, but wouldn't you rather see them get past the Patriots at full strength? I don't know, just thinkin' out loud I guess...
12 pages here: http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/10/815682-carter-fined-15k.html And from today: http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/10/815682-carter-fined-15k.html
Patsfans.com isn't exactly part of my rounds. Isn't there some other Jets board you guys always dump on? Kinda like that.
there is still the AFC North to go through, and then the NFC elite QBs once the Jets did make it. So as much as it would be more ammo for Pats fans to try and justify the Jets not earning the ring (because you know someone has to make that claim), the Jets would still have tough opponents to go through. Shit, even the chargers might actually pose a threat in january.......HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
