Jets, Falcons, Dolphins year 1 Texans, Browns, Bears (even though we won the first 2) year 2 There were also a few arguable ones where guys hit FGs to give their teams late leads until our offense regained the lead (Colts, Broncos). I might be forgetting something.
I guess no one watched the postgame. I actually saw when Burress made the statement. Not only did he basically say that he doesn't care how many touches he gets, he was clearly sincere that it didn't matter. He did mention being happy to take the double team if that's what a defense wants to do. He even rolled his eyes at one point when a reporter tried to push the issue. This ain't your father's Plaxico Burress.
I felt the same from the interview. At least for now Plax is not unhappy. It makes sense, btw, for him to credit himself, deservedly so, for drawing the double team. There were other factors in the game to sure, but on the available evidence that approach was not a winning one for the opponent.
