If we only lose by one score next week I'll be excited. That being said...yeah, haters gonna hate. "But it was the Raiders blah blah blah." Check this...He was down 21-3 at the half, and in the second half he engineered TD drives of 57, 69, 80, 80, and 80 yards. BOSS.
No doubt...the defensive effort was utter crap though. Campbell had 3 WR's out and still threw for 300+ yards. They've kept the running games of Charles and McFadden in check in b2b weeks, so at least the run d's improved.
Way to make an imaginary connection? Even the Bills fan admits that Fitzpatrick is lucky that he's gotten away with some bad throws...
For the guys saying they need to see Fitz do it against good teams.........he put up good numbers last year in 2 overtime losses to the Steelers and Ravens. against Ravens - 29/43 382yds 4td 2int against Steelers - 23/45 265yds 1td 1int He has played well against elite teams
McFadden rushed for 72 and a TD, he caught 71 more and scored another TD out of the backfield. If that is keeping him in check how would you describe not keeping him in check?
Ah yes, the famous "dropped interceptions" stat that you are so keen on using as an assessment of Sanchez's failure.
Hard to shut down McFadden. To be fair most of his receiving yardage were on screens where he didn't pick up the 1st on 3rd and long.
Besides last season lets not act like the Jets and Bills dont play close game regardless of records. Since 2004 the Jets lead the series 8-6......it was a 6-6 split until you guys swept us last year.
This is why the NFL is so great. The Bills come out strong with wins over Saint Coletta's Day School and Briggs County Trade & Aggie, and it gives poorer fanbases a reason for hope. They inevitably come crashing down hard, but it's what keeps television revenue steady. If the Bills started 0-2, they'd probably be looking at a couple blackouts - much like last year - and that just drags down the entire league.
Yes, but when crappy teams get blacked out it suggests to me that there might be a merciful god after all.
Since Rex came to town the Jets are 3-1 with a 55 point difference and the only defeat coming in OT. Let's not try and pretend it's even close, eh?
