The rule sort of works across other sports as well: New York Knicks New Jersey Nets Cleveland Cavaliers Washington Wizards The exceptions I can think of are: Los Angeles Lakers Pittsburgh Penguins Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Phillies Anyway, I digress. Alliterative football teams = shit. PROVEN SCIENTIFIC FACT.
At best the Jags are a weak opponent, however wilth all their injuries they are a gift to the Jets in week 2, all wrapped up and ready to open. You'd better fatten up your stats this week, because eventually the Jets DO have to play some good teams and play on the road. In the mean time I expect this week will give Jet fans reason to get real fat and sassy, especially since the Pats have to play one of the top 5 teams in the conference. The Jets should win in a walk, and possibly be looking at a one game lead in the division.
Jets are lucky, not that good, look at their schedule, Romo sucks, everyone chokes, Sanchez doesn't win the other team lose.
I assume that's sarcasm but to anyone who actually believes what you just posted...
Awesome you found where your mother and I had sex and the misfortune of conceiving you. No wonder she tried to punt you out the doctor's arms when you were born.
FINALLY a Jets fan who actually is showing some common sense. To think I had lost all hope for you guys.
our cupcake win vs jacksonville will be worth more than your cupcake win vs indy in their suck for luck sweepstakes. ironically we have a hard schedule than you guys do this year, and do not even talk about padding stats, your team tries to do that every week.
Hey Jet Fans, here for some pre-game talk. Should be a good game Sunday, I think it comes down to who ever has the better ground game Sunday will walk away with the win. Sanchez is nothing more then an average QB and Lord knows Luke McCown is NOT the Saviour of our franchise. It's going to come down to you guys stopping MJD or us stopping LT + Greene. I'm one of the few that thinks we have a real shot, just because I like the match up.
Meh, I think against your secondary Keller, Burress, Mason, Holmes (If he plays) should all have a good day. With revis and Cromartie able to go man to man that means we cant put 8 in the box
Don't get me wrong, I have no delusions about our secondary. It's bad, really bad, but our Dline got some pressure last week, and it wasn't out of no where. Slowly they've been rebuilding the front 7, and our 2nd year DT is the difference makers. I think Tyson Alualu and Terrence Knighton will be able to apply enough pressure to effect your Passing game. As for our Offense, its no secret. Stop MJD and you stop everything. Doesn't look like Marcedes will play so thats a plus for you guys. I expect a low scoring hard hitting old fashion game Sunday. Something along the line of a final score 17-13 either way.
