Right now my WR corps is solid... Andre, DeSean, Boldin and Mike Thomas. One of Boldin or Thomas is going to be the flex every week, leaving one on my bench. My RB situation is terrible... McFadden is great but then I have Marshawn Lynch and Brandon Jacobs as my 2nd and 3rd RBs.

Would you trade Mike Thomas for LT or James Starks? I want to unload Thomas or Boldin for a decent #2 back but I don't know if I can get better for Mike Thomas than LT or Starks. It's a PPR league too which leads me to take the LT trade.

I like Starks, but I still like Thomas more. Wait for one of your receivers to generate some decent trade value, then target a WR needy team. If Boldin can have another decent game or two, maybe you can trade him for a solid RB2, like Blount or something.

Mike Thomas hasn't put up good stats yet, and he'll most likely do nothing next week vs Revis, so his trade value relative to his talent and situation won't be great.

I think it would be a mistake to trade him for LT. You might get a few good weeks early out of LT, especially in a PPR league, but don't expect sustained success from him this year statistically.

That's kind of where I'm at with this. The offer is Mike Thomas for LT or James Starks. My worry is that Thomas will be the victim of a bad QB checking down to his RB or TE and his value won't even be higher than LT's.

seems very lateral to me. Ryan grant is still gonna get some carries.Starks will get goal line work but he's really not much different than brandon jacobs.

    I'm gonna hijack this:

I just traded beanie wells, mike wallace, and Owen daniels for jamaal Charles and lance kendricks in a PPR league.

My team is now: RB - Ray Rice and Jamaal Charles

    QB - Romo and Sanchez
WR - Dez Bryant and AJ Green or Sidney Rice
TE - Lance Kendricks or I can take Gresham off waivers
Flex - Shonn Greene or Mark Ingram

I have Helu and Deji Karim stocked on the bench in case of injury and I plan on holding on to them for a bit. In a pinch I guess I can drop them for a waiver wire stud as I've got #1 waiver claim but I'll wait for the right opportunity.

    Thoughts?

You left yourself pretty thin at WR. Rice might be useful, when he gets healty, but I don´t really expect him to be anything more than a spot-Starter, that Offense just sux. And A Rookie WR with a Rookie QB isn´t tho comfortable, either as a every week Starter.

I´d try to get a solid WR for Greene.

    Here´s my Week 1 Trade:

I tradet A. Brashaw and Jared Cook for S.Smith (Car) and Pettigrew

Here´s my team after the Trade:

QB Philip Rivers (SD - QB)
WR Kenny Britt (Ten - WR)
RB Rashard Mendenhall (Pit - RB)
TE Brandon Pettigrew (Det - TE)
W/T Steve Smith (Car - WR)
    W/R Beanie Wells(Ari - RB)

    BN:
    Jacoby Ford (Oak - WR)
    Zach Miller (Sea - TE)
    Austin Collie (Ind - WR)
    Mike Sims-Walker (StL - WR)
    Pierre Thomas (NO - RB)
    Cam Newton (Car - QB)
    Ed Dickson (Bal - TE)

This is a really competitive 14-Team League. We drafted early, and I drafted Collie and Britt to be my Starters with Ford and Sims-Walker as Backups (1pt per 25 Ret-Yards). Now Collie, Ford, Cook and Sims-Walker are pretty disapointing, so I felt like I gotta react. I feel like I didn´t get the good Value out of the Trade, but it definitly upgrades my Starting-Lineup. Might have gotten Dez, if I would have been willing to trade Beanie instead of Bradshaw.

    Toughts.

I think you did fine with Smith. If week one is any indication, barring injury Smith and Cam Newton have chemistry.

I say make the trade. LDT in a PPR league will be more valuable than Mike Thomas with Luke McCown running the Jags offense. Both will finish with 50 catches, but with LDT's rushes he'll have more total yards and TDs.

Grab Devery Henderson off waivers and after he gets another 16 points in Week 2, trade him and Lynch or Jacobs for a better RB to rotate with LDT at RB2 and the flex through the bye weeks.

    Good luck!
