I wonder if he takes Giant-Jet week off this year. The irrelevant Giants will be playing out the string while an excited city eagerly anticipates another Jets playoff run while they are heading for 10-12 regular season wins. After all it will be around the holidays so he can say he wanted to spend some holiday time with his family.

Francesa's hatred for the Jets has reached an amazing level. It's to the point where not only do they need to win to get destroyed, they also need to be perfect in all 3 phases.

I watched the broadcast last night, Bryant wasn't even hurt. He came down with leg cramps as soon as they put Revis on him.

This is otherwise known as Revisitis, a sudden leg affliction that attacks WRs, brought on by the combination of being guarded by Darrelle Revis and fear of getting embarrassed on national TV. It's especially contagious on Sunday nights and also know as Ochocinco's disease.

Seriously I saw on of these in Houston and it dwarfed a 747.

 

I'm not a Giants hater, but a part of me would love to see them tank it this year so that:

1) They are forced to contemplate Eli vs. Andrew Luck, faced with the reality that one game does not make someone a "great quarterback"(as many Giants fans have argued to me).

2) Francesa is forced to spend every week talking about "Mistuh Californier Cool" all year. That would be priceless.

Totally get where you're coming from, but (unfortunately) while Eli inherited a great DL beat-down on Brady, a blown Samuel INT during their last game-winning drive let alone Tyree's sick 'helmet' catch, the fact does remain (and I hate to admit this), Manning for all his faults did lead an end of the 1st half TD drive vs. Dallas at Dallas (after getting smoked vs. Dallas during the regular season) and followed it up with an NFC game win (Farve's dumb pick notwithstanding) to the SB.

The only thing (as a Jet fan) I can challenge that point on, was the fact that their opening game--beating a soft TB Buc divisonal 9-7 champ. The Jints, clearly the better (albeit road) team, got pretty much a free pass to the next round.

 

He and Evan were talking about Brady's comments (regarding the New England fans arriving early to drink) and Beningo said something like, "I can only hope that a certain talkshow host will come down hard on Brady for this, just as he would if it were Rex who made those comments."
