I think he's played way too many games to even be eligible for the practice squad. The season he had 10 sacks, 5 were in the two games against the Bills...
Is there really anything the Jets and Pats don't know about each other at this point? Bringing a player in from the Pats will not teach us anything more than film will.
Lmao he isn't even close to being eligible for the practice squad......That post (the one you answered) had to be a joke.
If I were the Jets, I wouldn't sign him and I was one of his supporters. He didn't play that well last year and for a one dimensional player he's no longer a very good pass rusher. I don't think he's going to help your pass rush. Just my 2 cents.
It seems to me the only viable information a recent pickup from a division rival can provide is an insiders perspective on recent injury information. The kind of injury information which a club likes to keep in house.
God no, the few times he gets in their they,ll call an audible and run right at him He's unsigned for a reason
Hopefully that or a DL. This leaves two openings, doesn't it? One on each. Interesting... TheJetsStream Manish Mehta In addition to Tully Banta-Cain, the #Jets worked out former Redskins & Eagles LB Chris Wilson yesterday, per Maybe that's who they intend to sign. Haha..jeez, they list him as a 240 pound DE http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WilsCh99.htm
It seems like Rex is trying to address the Pats domination last week by picking up one or two guys on D to counter Brady. I just don't know who will do a better job than the guys we already have, but good looks nonetheless.
They didn't sign Chris Wilson either. I guess they are just looking at what is there but they do have an opening on the regular roster and another on the PS. I would assume they won't leave it like that.
Forget insight on NE. We all know what we need . See the Giants model against NE in the superball. We got to figure a way to get to Brady from the middle of the line with our front four or OL backers. Westermann is not the answer. Blitzing Brady will kill us. Who is our pass rushing savior?
You can't just blitz brady. You have to adjust... just like the playoff I believe we will use bluffs on blitz's and alot of zone blitz to try and confuse. You can just send people and not expect for him to pick us apart... I have faith we will be the only team to compete with pats offense
