Now fatcessa is defending Torre's decision to disallow the Mets from wearing NYPD/NYFD hats.

It is a big deal. They play in New York where the tragedy happened and MLB not letting them wear hats to honor the fallen NYPD and FNDY is a disgrace and tasteless. An in typical fat boy fashion he's defending it.

I accidentally tuned into this idiot for a minute today, i never do that!

But he was correct. I think. Why did we have a LB covering Dez at one point. Think it was Thomas. And Dez hit us for big yards on the play.

There is no defense of that... sorry I like Joe Torre but that's just garbage. If Tom Brad can wear special NYFD shoes tonight as a tribute (if you haven't seen them check em out as they are awesome) then no reason why the Mets or Yankees couldn't honor the victims by wearing hats. Of all people Joe should understand how important baseball was following 9-11. It's just another reason why baseball continues to lose fans among the younger generation. Get with it guys.

Did anyone hear him say "the jets don't have a dominant defense. They have a dominant corner." ??
The jets had the #1 and #3 defense the last two seasons. That sounds to me like the best defense in the nfl since rex took over....

Tom Coughlin: constipated on the sidelines since 1991.

I haven't listened to Francesca in months, and I've been a better person since. Believe that, you're all better off.

To be fair our crowd sucked balls last night, no energy at all until the blocked punt.

The rest of that is jealous bitching though.

our crowd always sucks unless we're playing the pats. there's a reason it's always a topic of discussion and the reason why our head coach is always talking about the crowd. He wants them to be louder more consistently.

our crowd goes into a lull every game. it starts loud. then the other team scores and we start getting drunk and pissed and complain. then we start coming back and we get excited.

then the second drop off comes with the team slowing down or stalling on the comeback, maybe a fumble, some bad throws, or schotty running on 3rd and 8. the usual stuff that drives us all insane.

then we get back into it when the miracle happens. either we get a big defensive play or we put together a sick drive.

It's true.. you can't really blame the fans for starting loud then quickly getting the wind sucked out of them by yet another abysmal first quarter performance by the offense. It's frustrating and happens every game.
