Unlike some, I didn't think the Jets would win with ease against the Cowboys. However, I think this game isn't close. The heart of the Jets defense is their run defense. MJD does nothing and McCown is a terrible quarterback. This should be something like 27-6 type of game.
They did a good job of shutting down CJ and the run game..... I'm sure some of that is him being out of sync after his hold out. Hasslebeck did NOT look sharp / in sync with his receivers. MOJO was on a mission. If they can stop him, they should have it, as their passing game is not a match for the JETS secondary The JETS should win this game, but JAX always gives them trouble for whatever reason.
does anyone know who the the fuck Jason Hill or Cecil Shorts are? No? Me either, but apparently that's their #2 and #3 wide receiver
I remember some posters being high on Cecil Shorts as a sleeper in the draft this year, he's from a small school (Mount Union) but was very productive.
Going to this game with a bunch of friends and family to celebrate the glorious day of my birth. So fucking pumped. Hoping for a win, but not getting my hopes up incase the SOJ come out to play. I will be drunk regardless, just hoping it's a happy drunk (if we win) and not an angry one (if we lose). :jets:

Perfect trap game. We cannot look past the Jags - they are a good team coming off a win. We need to focus on our execution and come out with intensity. I do not want to be chewing my nails in the 4th quarter!
Except that everyone around here EXPECTS us to win 27-0. I want to see us dominate like we dominated the Bills last year, but to do that, we have to execute better on both sides of the ball against what appears to be a weaker opponent. Come out early and impose our will upon them. Rex said it last night after the game. It was a great win, but it's only 1 game. Now it's time to get back to work.

After beating us 2 years ago I don't think Rex and co will be gunning for them. I know he hasn't forgotten what MJD did to us and no one is better then adjusting then Rex. They also lost Garrard whos a solid mobile qb. I dont think it's a blowout as Jags played better yesterday then expected but I do expect a win. 24-13 and our run game finally gets going.
people forget that part of the reason we lost that game was because sanchez threw 2 picks and the defense hadn't adjusted yet to not having kris jenkins. that was like 2 games or so after he got hurt. they also had mike sims walker back then and we had.... lito sheppard
point being that their team has gotten considerably worse and we have gotten much better. this shouldn't be close.
