Short offseason was the reason for shitty play. All day today teams looked sloppy except for the Ravens and the goddamn Bills weren't too bad either. Our offensive line was so bad tonight, there is no one to blame for anything but them for shitting their pants, DeMarcus Ware is a nightmare. On the plus side, we had no penalties I think.
Not sure if this was mentioned or not already but I couldn't believe how tired dez bryant looked. Reminded me of playing backyard football with all my out of shape friends lma0
I've been a fan since 1983. Saw the Ken O'Brien years and even though the Jets stunk and sucked, not once did I quit on my team. I might have been disgusted with how they played, but never quit on my team till the official end of the game. THIS IS WHAT HAS BEEN MISSING FOR SO LONG! Character. They may have had a bad start, but as the game went along the Jets found ways to make big plays. Was it just me, or did it look like the Cowboys were encroching every single time they were on defense against Sanchez. :jets:
sanchez's hard count really fucked them up. yet sadly even when they figured out where the pressure was coming from, the line still couldn't fuckin block it half the time
That throw looked the same like Favre threw to the Giants in the championship game a few games ago. Just a duck. I think Bryant was supposed to come back to the ball. That kid is going to be a BEAST.
From Mike Devito (hehehe) knocking the fumble away, to McKnight block and Trufants return, to Dez Bryant becoming a victim on Revis island it was an exciting game (Which I wish we had less of to be honest.)
Well, if it happens in half the fucking games, it's not just luck. Nice job guys, division battle should be fun.
Some random thoughts: -Mark was ok, considering we had no running game and Dallas' D was all over the place it wasn't a bad game but he wasn't too sharp. -Our D wasn't great but they made plays to win the game. -Dallas' D was excellent, no holes for the running game and they pressure mark all night. -Cro struggled but the 2 TDs weren't bad plays. He did get beat for the 2 TDs but credit Dallas, that was a perfect throw and catch to Dez and Austin made a great play on the 2nd one. -Revis shut down Dez, I was at the agme so I'm not sure how hurt Dez was but he had one catch on revis and started barking at him then Revis didn't allow him another catch(after Dez had those 2 recs against Cro) -Witten and the screens killed us, it is our wekaness on D. -Romo played great...until that asinine decision to scrmable when 3 pts would have made it very difficult to lose that game and then of course the INT. -great job by Folk obviously. -Plex was a beast in the 4th qtr, when mark gets comfortable w/ this WR trio it's going to be explosive.
The offense is gonna be out of sync for a few games cus of the turnover at WR but once it gets going look out.
Did anyone notice (or not notice) Kyle Wilson? The kid had a good game, saw him in on a bunch of plays and he didn't get picked on like I feared he would. Maybe attribute it to the Cowboys lack of depth at WR, but its a start!
One name that I haven't seen mentioned that definitely should be is Kyle Wilson. Both Revis and Cro came off of the field at different points today with Wilson stepping in and without the shots of them on the sideline I would not have noticed. Aside from that, K Dub did a great job covering the slot today and I only counted two passes thrown at him. The guy is showing some great improvements.
Looks like it might have been. Seems he was trying to talk to Ryan at the end and Ryan wanted no part of it. I hope somebody finds out for sure who it was and what was said to set him off like that...maybe, "get a haircut".
