You are being generous with 2 wins. We all saw firsthand how bad the Colts were when Peyton was taken out, against us in 2009, and the following week the lowly bills BLEW THEM OUT without Peyton. Caldwell is a mediocre coach, the FO is overrated, the defense is full of front runners who need a lead to look good (except mathis and freeney) addai is only good because teams fear the pass and allow him to get big gains on draw plays. 0-16. Im just thrilled after screaming about how overrated this team is for years we finally get to see it firsthand.
There's always a few of those odd games that teams that have no business winning but do, so I'm accounting for those...
He said that only IF THEY STAYED HEALTHY. As you all should know by now, Manning is injured, ergo they're not healthy, ergo he's not wrong.
Sam Bradford just got absolutely blasted, it hurt just to watch that hit. Goddamn I missed the NFL. David Garrard should start studying Colts game tape, I have a feeling he'll be getting a call from them soon.
fair enough lol, I'm just accounting for what the roster is like and how they are run in the FO and coached on the field. Also, I hope this sheds light on the fact that Peyton is clearly better than Brady at the QB position, like you said, Brady doesn't play in 2008 and the Patriots still win 11 games, Brady although a great quarterback has had his image embellished by the cast around him especially Belichick whereas it seems Peyton can only be made to look BAD by the cast and coaching around him and on the other side of things, he is the only reason the players and coaches look good on the Colts. The Colts are the closest thing to a basketball team the NFL has ever seen; where a team can be carried by a single player and become a champion, and then loose that player and look like chumps. (see 2009 cavs vs 2010 cavs haha)
To be fair, Matt Cassel is at least a competent NFL starter. Kerry Collins has been finished for two years now, plus he doesn't know the system at all.
To say the Colts won't win a game w/ Collins is not a correct statement. But neither is saying they are a 10 win w/o Manning.
