Garrard. Imagine you are him, and where would you go? I think he wants to show the Jags were wrong, and that he can still start. I think that overcomes any consideration about likelihood to make the playoffs and possible SB. In short he will go where he has a shot at starting. Miami would not surprise me.
Garrard is not going to get a starting job anywhere with the season starting tomorrow. He may get a backup job that might eventually lead him to starting but that is the most he can hope for until next year.

He was drafted by Carolina in that awful 09 draft of theirs. Scouts were saying how he only had a chance to be successful in a 3-4 defense because of his size (6-1 I think), but Carolina drafted him anyway and made him a DE in the 4-3. It'd be interesting to sign him, but I wouldn't get my hopes up...doesn't seem like a Rex Ryan guy.
Yes he can. I remember when he played the jets last or the year before and 2 sacks against our starters in a preseason game. Enough with the not Rexs kind of guy stuff. He's 250 so what if he's on 6'1. Put him in on obvious passing situations
This is true. All I've heard bad about him is he struggles against the run. We took a chance with Maybin. Why not take a chance on Brown. This defense will never be elite without a beast pass rushing LB. He has more than just speed around the edge. Just sayin.
we took a chance on Maybin in the preseason to evaluate him, when we had extra roster slots and preseason game time to see what he has. Picking up Brown would mean we have to cut a guy we have confidence in, and then we have to give him a few weeks to evaluate him. So thats not a move likely to be made. We are high on Mcintyre and Westerman. Time will tell if we are right about them or not. But like Mambo said, nobody claimed him, so he is at best a project guy, and thats something nobody wants around here anymore.

I think Seattle is going to hold out hope that Carson Palmer becomes available.. something that slid under the radar but Palmer recently moved to Seattle. Coincidence?
