Found this to be entertaining... the bold quote made me laugh a bit. http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story...an-new-york-jets-rex-ryan-little-freaky-worse IRVING, Texas -- Last year, foot-fetish photos and video of a woman purported to be New York Jets coach Rex Ryan's wife turned up on the Internet. At the time, Ryan said, "it's a personal matter and I'm not going to discuss it." But his twin brother, Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, did say something Monday, joking about the matter less than a week before their teams open the NFL season against each other. "I mean, hell, he is a little freaky, I guess," cracked Rob Ryan, who said he talks to his brother on the phone daily. "I don't know. I like everything about it. My wife, she's got everything. She's got great feet, too. She's got everything nice. What the hell?" As the Jets were entering the 2010 postseason, the videos and photos surfaced about Rex Ryan's wife. Most of the Jets players interviewed supported their coach and said it wouldn't be a distraction heading into the playoffs. "Who cares?" Rob Ryan said. "Look believe me, everybody has whatever screwed up thing going on. I don't care, I'm sure you do and everybody else points fingers. Who cares? Hell, everybody's got a life off the field and who really gives a crap. I'm sure I'm worse than he is. Big deal." New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker made a joke about the videos and photos and was apparently benched for a series by coach Bill Belichick in an AFC playoff game last year. Heavy dose of Greene and the offensive line vs the Cowgirls. Get a bit comfortable and then go to the air once the opening day jitters have passed. On defense, I am very sure Rex will be able to confuse the Cowboys into keeping Jones back to block the impending assorted blitz fronts he will show. We should be able to keep the Cowboys from running forcing them to throw.
i don't believe Newman did either. Not that he is a stellar or anything, but anytime an opponents starter is out, its a plus for us. That said, its far more important if Austin sits out than if Newman does. Removing Austin hurts their offense and then you put revis on Bryant and their passing game is down to Witten and Jones out of the backfield. that said, it's only monday, no time to be getting our hopes up that either guy may not play.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/sh...t=Aub5juKW6ACE2dfvvaQNc685nYcB?urn=nfl-wp6481 Thought this was a cool article if anyone wanted to read it. Didn't see it posted anywhere and thought this would be a good place to post it.
Going to be an interesting week ... my neighbor is a huge Cowboy's fan, as is one of my best friends. They have already started the shit talking, but you can tell they don't love their chances. While I agree a strong dose of Greene is in order, i don't want the playcalling to be to conservative early. I think that messes with Sanchez's mind more than anything. Let the kid throw the damn ball and try and get into a groove early against a secondary thats hurting.
Starting Dallas Clark in fantasy. Actually drafted him for the propose of starting him week one. Hopefully i dont get that many points from him. I expect our offense to come out slow. But the defense to win this bad boy.
You either meant Jason Witten or think Dallas Clark's first name is the name of the team he plays for.
Hows it going everybody........I'm a cowboys fan that was lurking on here and I thought I would say that I am looking forward to a great game on the 11th.......So happy football is back..... I also wanted to say that its cool you have a pic of my Gramps as your user pic blackssmagic.......That was a crazy old man, and its weird to see somebody using it......If you look real close he has a chicken leg between his fingers....... Heres another pic of him.....His name was Harold Whitaker, and he was from Missouri.....He passed away a couple years ago..... Wish you all the best, and hope there is no injuries.......This one is him throwing the Whitaker gang sign....lol Life was never dull around him.... I have not been here long enough to post a link so I used his picture as my avatar........
Im not as lucky unfortunately. That being said, Felix jones is not like most running backs. Even if he only gets 55 yds rushing, if he get 30 yds receiving which isnt out of line thats still close to 10 pts.
Some pretty good Rob Ryan comments. I hope he gets his shot soon and I hope it is in the NFC but knowing how these things usually go it will probably be in Miami. http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/je...uad?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter One that stands out. "On the challenges of playing against Santonio Holmes and Plaxico Burress: "Oh yes, and (Derrick) Mason, too. He’s been one of the best for a long time. And that (Dustin) Keller, and my God, L.T. (LaDainian Tomlinson) and (Mark) Sanchez. So they’ve got a whole all-star squad over there. You can’t understate the challenge. It’s obviously a huge one and we’re looking forward to it."
Hopefully this game isn't getting so big that the players will lose focus. If ever there was a game where that could happen, this is it. Even Rex is nervous. http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/jets/post/_/id/6927/jets-announce-game-plan-for-911
Wow, the FDNY bagpipers are one of the best pipe bands in the whole world. Still, with all due respect to 9/11, this is about the game. I doubt the players lose focus.
LOL.........I dont blame you all for not believing me....... If I could figure out how to post a facebook link I have prove there......Go to Facebook and search for Robert Howell, Hermann, MO 65041....I have him in my pics. Check it out....
I normally dont let the public see my page but I will leave it open for a few so you can get some prove........I only have one pic of him on there but read the comments......
Actually, I was thinking more about DeNero at half time and the kids of the first responders acting as honorary captains and the American flags and the families of those killed coming on the field..and on and on. It seems more like a ceremony than it does a game.
