    Kinda hoping the Jets put Payne on the IR.

    If he comes back healthy, he's got a future on special teams though.

    Gilbert had a productive preseason. He could end up on the final 53.

    That's my feeling, as well. No point in wasting a roster spot on him if he's going to miss 6-8 weeks.

    The Jets should take a look at John Chick if he gets release from the Colts. Chick was a beast in the CFL similar to Cam Wake.

    According to Tanny he had been having a good camp. Kid has a hell of a motor and always seems to be around the ball. Bart Scott definitely liked the kid.

    Berning really looked good but does anyone even remember seeing him on the field the previous three games? That's kind of a red flag to me but what he showed last night to me is certainly enough to give him a shot because you'd have to assume he's looking good in practice if they're considering keeping him. Glad to see Bellore is going to make the 53.

    Hard work pays off......good for the kid.

    Shame Bryan Thomas for the money he is making can't be let go. Can't recall much of what he did in the preseason. Westerman might give you as much if not more than what Thomas can as an OLB.

    I believe this year is the last year of his contract. He'll most likely be gone after this season.

    Aww shit nevermind....this is going to be one of those years where Bryan Thomas produces an 8 sack season and makes people wonder why he showed up so late only to sucker a team into another decent size deal.
