Anybody run into some new cheese online yet? I won my first two online games without any major issues with the other player. Passing is definitely harder this year, I completed 47% of my passes in my second win. Luckily Holmes broke two slants for huge tds.
Anyone else feel this game is a step back from last years? All these weird visual choices on kickoff that make the game look like shit. Why did they focus on grass when their fans in the seats look like ass???? Hit stick and big hits seem to be gone. Screen no longer shakes, no nice sound effect no OHHHHH moment. Just feels and looks like regular tackles now... weak Why is Trevor Pryce still on the Jets?

Mystery of the day for Madden. How the FUCK is Kevin Kolb rated higher than Sanchez? He's done basically nothing yet in his career yet on updated roster he is rated higher? Stupid shit.
I completely disagree. The new visual choices along with the faster gamespeed make this feel much more like an arcade game than last years. Big hits weren't unrealistic and those same animations are still in this game you just don't notice them because the sound effects for tackles are awful as is the crowd noise. I'll never understand why Madden can't just build upon their series instead of taking shit out and adding new crap thats not as good. The look and feel of last years game was dead near perfect so what do they do, they change it and add some half assed physics engine for better tackling. I know backbreaker didn't sell well or anything but that game had incredible crowd noise, incredible physic engine, awesome stadiums and crowds. The audible system is horrendous in this years Madden... I'll never understand how NCAA and MAdden can be made in the same building but yet NCAA has a superior audible system.... 2k5 a game over a decade old had a better offensive and defensive audible hot route system. Sorry for the rant lol Serious with the Kevin Kolb rating? WTF Don't even get me started on the NY Jet ratings Eric Smith 79 speed, Ducasse rated better than Turner AHHHHHHHH

I was thinking this might be the case, as they did this in at least one of the NHL games a few years back, maybe 07 or 08, but why did they pick the worst looking dude possible for that one QB?
Played 5 games last night online and went 5-0... but there is something weird with the ranking points. For some reason there is a penalty for completing games. I noticed at the end of my last game it said "5 Completed Games Penalty: -150" or something like that. Anyone know what this is? I've found nothing online anywhere.
By the way, anyone on 360 interested in a TGG community? It would be pretty small, but we could get some games in.
I dont remember I saw it last night though. I was planning on starting a tgg community but didn't think about it last night. It would probably be better than the franchises that always fail on 360.

I was pretty pissed about this. I got NCAA for the sole purpose of building up a bunch a draft classes and traded it in to get Madden. I did think it was strange to export before the players leaving stage, but didn't think anything of it.
yea me too, well i didnt trade mine in though. but earlier in the thread i was giving madden 12 props until i reached preseason week 4 and found out EA shit the bed on that. im over it now though. your best bet is to just download draft classes online(Mr.E knows more about this than i do) , or you could always rent a copy and simulate if its that important. funny enough though now that im plowing through NCAA games for the draft classes im becoming more addicted to NCAA again. recruiting is a labor of love that i enjoy just as much as playing the games. although i must admit it was annoying as fuck to start off yr one after recruiting well for 4 years.
Yeah, it's really an NCAA problem though rather than a Madden problem. I actually can't stand the recruiting, and only vaguely follow college football. But I'm super lame and like to create myself and friends for Madden and wanted to draft them this year rather than have us all be free agents.
