    Hi folks!

Creating a Cut/Keep thread for peeps to put info. in. I got hit by a car while riding my motorcycle on Monday and really do not have the energy......or the coherence, to go digging through all the channels and articles. If you all could put the info. here it would be great!

So far we have, as far as I can find, Novak and Bryan out as far as the kicking game goes. Any more that anyone can find? Thanks!

Wow that sucks, hope you get better.

I think I read somewhere that Courtney Smith was cut, not 100% sure but I believe this is the case

Motorcycles are great, it's just falling off them that sucks.

fell off a motor scooter once going about 40 mph... not fun... could only imagine what a motorcycle accident is like... get well soon

honestly i hate to see anyone from our team get cut... its hard to hate on any players this year for me... only one that sticks out in my mind is michael campbell, which is inevitable... that dropped TD in game 1 still sticks out in my mind, if u wanna make the team u cant drop that...

and we might as well cut brunell... i think hed be a waste of roster spot and mcelroy looks capable

Not to derail the thread but I have 2 freinds have motorcycle accidents.

    a) less than 5mph, around a corner, hit a small pothole that any motorcyclist could handle, fell on his side and broke his collar bone in 14 places.

    b) Screwing around on deserted street (corporate park on weekend nite) 80mph on a gradual turn. Misjudged the turn and goes down. Walked away with a little road rash.

The speed of the bike does not determine the severity of the accident. That being said, after 8 years and 35k+ miles, I sold my bike.

    Get well.

I'll echo the best wishes on a speedy recovery.

As for cuts, the team was already at 80, which they needed to be, so I'm not sure we'll see much movement until after the Eagles game. Then the deluge begins.

I say we keep everyone and just put the extra players in duplicate jerseys.

If they just mill around a lot and don't stand next to someone with the same number, nobody will notice.

Sorry about your Motorcycle accident, hope you're doing better.

A lot of Bike accidents are caused by careless motorists.

I can't defend Bike Riders who won't wear a helmet. Ohio doesn't require helmets, totally insane.

A lot of it definitely has to do with the bike your on and how you fall. If it's a small bike that you can get away from you can walk away alright. A big bike that come down on you is gonna do damage no matter how slow your going. My dad dumped his Harley a few years ago. Shattered his ankle and broke his collarbone going about 15mph.

Yup. Forces riders to be almost extra aware during every ride. Sometimes that just sucks the fun out of the whole endeavor.

Mezzavo, feel better. How did it happen if you don't mind me asking? Were you turning left or did someone cut into your lane?

Back on topic: cut that Sanchez guy. He's a dick.

It does, its physics at work. The guy that was fooling around at high speed and walked away with road rash probably used up 8 7/8's of his 9 lives. No way someone doing 80mph should walk away from a motorcycle accident.

Every car fails the "crash" test at high speeds. Crash tests are performed at a uniform speed of 35mph so that it can simulate crashes at mid-range speeds expected to be near the limit before serious damage occurs to passengers. They anticipate harm to occur at higher speeds and don't expect cars to meet high speed standards because it's impossible to protect people in high speed crashes.

Well...if you lived in N. California and had to commute to work you'd find the allure...it saves me 3 hours of commute time per day.

We were going about 30 mph...the driver hit me with their driver door...so I can't figure out how the driver didn't "see" me...I was practically in their window. I guess that's called "not looking". She was probably :drunk:

Jacked up from the knees down but walking so nothing broken...just a ton of internal bleeding and scrapes and crap...soooo...back to work on Tuesday!

And I was definitely wearing a helmet...full face, nothing less...if I didn't have that full face helmet I would have lost my jaw and right side of my face...THAT wouldn't have been pretty!

I agree with letting go Brunell honestly. I've seen enough from McElroy to let him take the reins for a game. Heck, he'd probably end up playing anyway as Brunell would be a one hit and out anyhow. Campbell is definitely gone imo.

What's the date for the cutdown to 53??

I appreciate everyone's well wishes! Thanks!

    Mezzavo,

As a former medic I seen more then my fair share of bike accidents and most were not pretty. Glad your doing better, here's to a speedy recovery on your part. Sad fact is most bike accident are not caused by the riders but by car and truck drivers getting to close or losing there attention to there surroundings

Very interested in seeing who the Pats are going to cut, with all the defensive players including Ellis who have yet to play

Are you guys serious about cutting Brunell? I understand that nobody expects him to light it up if (god forbid) Sanchez goes out, but are you really ready to put all your stock in a rookie who we've now seen play all of a few quarters of preseason? I'm rooting for McElroy to do well as much as anyone else is, but scrapping Brunell would be a horrible move at this point.

Why cut Brunell? We aren't going to go with two QBs and he has a great mentor relationship with the starter. Makes no sense.
