boo hoo Jets fans bitching about a bit of realism? the guy came out of a 2 yr prison stint. makes a 26 yd td catch and people suddenly forget that. were relying on new targets for an already unproven qb. this defense will have to revert to 09 form if were thinking SB. either that or Sanchez needs to silence his critics this yr. i have faith in this team but theres alot of variables i think most people try to overlook while riding the Rex wave of infectious momentum

these comments aside, which I dont disagree with, I hate Joe Namath. Hes a fuckin drunken, cocky douchebag. And one of the all time most overrated athletes in the history of sports
hahaha yes i love how they question namath all the time like hes still relevant. gotta respect the legacy but football is a completely different game nowadays. anything he says about QB's yes i take to heart cuz the guy knows what it takes. but on this particular subject hes absolutely right and anyone to take offense is just overly optimistic. although it was funny to hear skip bayless ask namath about sanchez. and cited Sanchez inconsistent accuracy and asked if he believes if accuracy is something your born with or can improve upon after a cple years in the league. namath basically said why are you asking me about accuracy i barely had any. just paraphrasing what he inferred. but him and skip both laughed. oh funny note, namath made a remark about him and skip painting the town red in the past. bayless looked a lil off guard. was funny to see. then the people on first take asked him about it he said they hit the town in LA one night wouldve been funny to see them both doing blow off call girls while namath is still wearing his sunglasses past midnight
Hahaha yeah I get Namath's history and all but man he is the epitome of that Lincoln quote......... Better to be thought of as a fool then open up your mouth and remove all doubt. Namath is just a parody of himself at this point.
well no shit not disagreeing there. but i love it cause it pretty much proves he hasnt changed since his playing days. he prolly drinks whiskey out of his old jets helmet while reciting playcalls at the breakfast table.
